Freebie bump! We've been open for just under two weeks now, and we have a nice little community going. We would still love to meet new people though- drop in and say hi! We still have a few popular canons available (Jean Grey, Jubilee, Rogue, Storm, etc) as well as many others besides.
Monthly Bump! We're still going strong, and would love to see more new people about the boards! In particular we are still looking for a Storm and Beast for the X-Men, Mystique for the Brotherhood, and Jubilee and Shadowcat for the New Mutants!
Monthly Bump! A new act has been passed declaring mutants as less than human. Their rights have all but been taken away, leading to repercussions on all sides. We still have spots available for new characters! We would love a Storm, Beast and Angel for the X-Men, and are additionally looking for people to adopt Iceman and Gambit, amongst others.
Monthly Bump! The Shadow King, using Professor Xavier's body, has wiped out a good portion of New York, humans dropping dead in an instant, their minds all too cruelly switched off. If things hadn't been tense before, they are now...
Another monthly bump. This time from one of the board's new Admins. X-Genesis has come under new management but we are keeping the game going in the same spirit as before, an AU Canon only game where big things are happening and big named characters are still available for adoption. As of this posting such mutants as Cyclops, Storm, Beast, Angel, Blob, Quicksilver, and many more are still up for adoption. And for a quick preview of where things stand... The world is falling into darkness… Man turns on his fellow man all because of genetic differences… War is on the horizon… It is the year 2011 and mutants exist. This has become a plain and simple fact of life… Or perhaps not so simple… The world and its people have seen what mutants can do both for good and evil. Most mutants are viewed at large as a threat to the human race. Knowing this would happen one man stepped forward to make certain that humanity was safe and mutants could learn to control their powers as a benefit to all the people of the world. His name was Charles Xavier. For a time under the shadow of growing hate and prejudice of mankind he brought together mutants from all over the world to teach them to be the next line of defence against those that would threaten the peace however those times are now gone... In a world where hate fills the air, where the dreams of Charles Xavier begin to fall to pieces and where Xavier himself has seemingly become the enemy of peace… Where will you stand? Light or Dark… Good or Evil… Will you stand against hatred or fight in its name? In this All Cannon Alternate Universe RPG the choice and the fate of mutant kinds future rests in your hands.
Rescuing strangers from a Sentinel attack, rescuing friends from a vile kidnapping, cleaning up the city... these are just a few of the events that are taking place on the board. More, the young mutants of the school are about to be reorginized to fight against the persecution of humanity and the X-Men have plans to take back their Mansion and try to save their philosophical leader, the Professor. The Brotherhood has been quiet of late. Or, rather, they have managed not to get caught at any of their recent activities. A vile kidnapping, seemingly random acts of destruction, and their fearless leader plots for a major strike to announce to the world that mutant kind will not go silently into humanity's concentration camps. The Hellfire Clubs plans to form the Hellions is gaining traction and they are still on a big recruitment push. Remember, with this being an AU game pretty much anybody could become a member of any group so if you've ever dreamed of Cyclops as the White King, Blob as an X-Men, or Angel of the Brotherhood, come by and see us. The Rescue is completed successfully but it has led to an entanglement with the agency known as SHIELD. The Brotherhood has gone on a whirlwind of recruitment and is moving toward a public message to the world to let them know that mutant-kind will not be held down or kept from their rightful place. The world waits in anticipation to see what happens now that the U.S. government has stripped all mutants of their human rights, many a country on the precipice of deciding on the mutant 'problem' themselves. If they go quietly then why not enslave mutants? If they put up an epic fight can they be turned from threat to ally? Come. Join us. Answer those questions yourself.
Wow! A very late bump! A new team of young, inexperienced X-Men has been sent on a dangerous mission to receive some medical supplies from an allegedly friendly government agency. However, given the political state of America, have they been lured into a trap that they have no hope of escaping? Back at the school, there are tensions among the original X-Men, friend pitted against friend, and alliances and relationships being formed in unexpected places - who will emerge unscathed? The Brotherhood are active and making waves in New York, with a major Friends of Humanity rally disrupted. Will they be able to curb their behaviour enough to avoid setting back the mutant cause by 50 years or more? The site is canon only, and some favourite canons - Cyclops, Wolfsbane and Beast among them - have all recently come up for adoption, and are just BEGGING for someone to love them and play with them!
