People like that are generally insecure about themselves and project it on others. They put awesome people down because we intimidate them, and they want to feel secure in themselves. Since they don't have a brain, or any originality, they choose to be petty and refer to looks, (which I guarantee you that they're not exactly models themselves) as that's the only area their tiny, minute, paramecium brains can go in order to make them feel good about themselves.

You are smart, you are creative, you are beautiful. Also, if you want I'll break their noses for you LOL

People like that... They are destined for mediocrity. Be they happy or sad, they will never be more than trash to be stepped over by the true treasures, such as people like you. I cant say I know what that feels like, though I've been made fun of for the same things. I'm incapable of feeling a variety of emotions due to my sociopathy, but I would wager it's tough. If you let it keep you down, I know you're only giving them what they want: To make you sad. People dont say things unless they want to be heard. On some level or another. Keep going strong. It doesnt matter if people like that think you're ugly; they are pathetic scum that see nothing past their own ego. There will always be people who think you're beautiful. I may not know what you look like, but with a grasp of your personality, I have to say you are beautiful.

Perhaps I'm being insensitive to you here. I apologize if I am. Believe it or not, I'm trying to make you feel better. XD It's just hard for me to gather what you're going through here.

I have to really admire you for staying professional about it, I probably would have gotten myself fired for all the wonderful things I would have done to them. Giving me a black belt was not a good idea.

From one girl to another, you're gorgeous. And truth be told, looks fade anyway. All you're going to be left with is a personality, and you have one, and a good one at that, so you have nothing to worry about. On top of that, who are they to decide how you look? That's all totally up to you. It SHOULD be all up to you. If you think you're pretty, you're gorgeous. Remember that.

And I don't like to wish ill on people but yea I felt a sense of awesome justice when I saw they were fired. You have an awesome boss for agreeing with you.

And -hugs- Like someone said earlier, a person can always lose weight but you can't gain personality. :/ I went through a lot of this during school... funny, because you always think that people should have "grown out" of that crap when they graduated, but they never did.

We had some guys at work that did similar crap, talking about the chicks they would and being pretty rude about the gay dudes that worked there though they never got in trouble for their behavior because the boss really simply did not care. At all. I'm glad your boss isn't like that, hun.

I read this topic for the first time today, I just went .... completely speechless. What terrible tasteless behavior. It was so cruel, unfair and untrue. How could anybody engage in a conversation like that? It's despicable. I just have no words or description for what I think about what was said... It's too awful, I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Never ever take anything like that to heart. You are, who you are, and that is more than good enough for anybody. It's okay to love yourself a little, because plenty of people do too.

I'm glad they were terminated. It doesn't take away their nasty after-taste but I think its a breath mint.

So sorry you had to go through and hear something like that. In a way, as cruel as the two employees may have been, you overhearing their conversation and reporting it might have been for the better - to possibly teach them some respect. After all, I can only imagine what they were saying about other people as well. I am happy that it was dealt with though and your boss terminated both for it.

The new staff guy prob won't even put that he worked there, it was too short, and I'm sure he learned his lesson.

The older staffer tho... Yeah, his career begins now at McDonald's, maybe. No one wants to hire someone who was fired for sexual harassment. It just screams 'lawsuit'.
