If you like historical romances like I do then you will love, love, looove this book. I have to say this book was amazing! I could not put it down. When I find an author that can pull me into a story such as she did I feel she deserves much credit for it. I come across many good stories, but some lack that ability to pull a reader in and place them within the story and era. I very much visualized this wonderfully written story.

It's a historical romance, which I do love to read on occasion. There are many hearts broken, lives lost, and relationships created within it. It's a heartwarming story of a woman in the 18th century doing her best to keep a balanced life with as many troubles that befall on her and her family. It gives a little perspective on what was expected of women of that age and time, and what would happen to them should they try to be strong and go against the grain.

It's a powerful story. I would recommend it to anyone.

    I give it 5/5 stars.

I actually was considering buying this book for my kindle last month or so, but for some reason decided against it. Maybe I'll get it now that you've given it an official thumbs up >3

*thumbs up* I'm sure you'll love it. I bought it for my Nook on B&N. The reviews were good as well. She was edging very close to 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book! In part because it wasn't a "this is the guy shes meant for and this is the filler drama guy!" type story. The main characters relationships were all special and intriguing, it kept me guessing. The secondary characters were also very interesting and if I have one complaint it's that they didn't get more time to shine.

Yes, you are absolutely right! I would have loved to get a little more information on the secondary characters, but I couldn't complain too much because the story was so wonderful and fresh.
