Staff Involvement in the Debating Forum

Debates are often a place of high emotions and passionate opinions. Except in the case of severe flaming of an individual member, the staff will not become officially involved in the debates that take place here. If a member says they believe that gay people should never have the right to marry, the staff will not become involved. If a member calls another member a f*g, the staff will get involved. We also ask that images not be used in the debate forum unless directly related to the material being discussed.

While the staff will not respond to general hurt feelings and ruffled feathers, we reserve the right to remove debating forum privileges for members that do abuse the debating forum (such as in the above example) and/or are frequently reported by other members.

By participating in the debating area, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the guidelines and staff's involvement.
