RPs I'd Like to See....

Just a gathering thread for roleplay ideas and suggestions that you'd like to see, but don't want to lead and desire someone else to pick up and run.

A band RP not run by complete douchebags with lame preset face claims and comparisons to hip, contemporary bands I have never heard of. A band RP that actually has people older than twenty on it.

A 28 Days Later roleplay. Specifically, a Manchester barricade one, in the interim period. Maybe an AU.

as I've mentioned in other threads on the same topic... Sweeney Todd! Based on Tim Burton's version, but it should be the aftermath, meaning there will be no living Sweeney, Lovett, Turpin any other real 'adult' characters. Could be really interesting to see what happened to Johanna, Toby and Anthony and who else they might run into

My friend and I are making something of this nature. Perhaps you'd like to give it a try when we open? We do have some preset faces, but only so we won't see scene kids in the roles of band members. And preset names, but only because we keep seeing the most ridiculously named 'rock stars' in other RPG sites. (It's... grating on my nerves when I have to encounter it, being more of a Metallica fan and Aerosmith myself. And Bowie...) And yes, we do have some references to newer bands, but no one completely obscure. It's just to help give an idea about the bands.


I'm sure, if it seems like too much, we could reach a compromise should you ever think of joining.

NOW, back to topic: The Gunslinger: The Dark Tower series, by Stephen King, but only until the part where Stephen King is not yet introduced into the story. I love the man, cannot get enough of his books, but yeah... I don't want his name on the canon list :lol:

More real life (city and town RPGs) and reality-show based RPG's that are beginner-friendly, and don't have many rules, accept 3-5 sentences as a paragraph. They must have a short app or no-app. And plus, I'd like to see these type RPGs allow original characters. I liked "Tell Me Your Secrets" when it was an RPG. Oh yeah, and secrets too would be fun.

A forum without Sophia Bush or Chad Michael Murray all up in my face. [: Or any of those other stupid TV couples. >.< Some are fine. Ones that I actually like. XD But Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray are ALWAYS together. Someone needs to mix it up. Swirl around the possible combinations in a huge vat of celebrities and models so that you have Sophia Bush being finals with DJ Qualls or some crap. We all know Sophia Bush. I was actually thinking of going on an extended tirade in that post, and had Metallica in mind. Those guys were not weeby, straight-out-of-high-school teentards when they hit fame, and I think they're probably the most realistic in terms of timelines for bands in relation to fame and musical development.

To be honest, I think I'd love to see a RPG based off of "Law & Order", and "American Gangster". Three great TV Shows/Movies, and they're all quite popular.

I'd like to see these RPGs I suggested allow Original Characters.

I was actually thinking about what I could do as a new RPG since apparently College RPGs are on a low (see desperate board). I could so figure out an Apartment complex board if I had some help! Or at least a guaranteed member should you want to join XD

Back to topic: Just an original RP that has no connection with a fad (Twilight/Harry Potter/Etc...) Something with a damn good plot and easy to follow app. I like Intermediate boards just because they challenge my writing, but Beginner Friendly is fine with me.

Original superhero, just throwing it out there. Something like from the 80's since I haven't seen something like that yet. Either struggling vigilantes or Justice League style. I'm up for both.
