I was working on a roleplay site that allowed solo-threads to advance ones' progress and I realized that I could be doing the exact same thing for cash.... There's no such thing as a get-rich-quick scheme, but I'm wondering exactly what my options are, and what would be the best bang for my time. For example, writing a novel to get published is going to take a long time, but being published is hardly a guarantee. I found this site: http://thehighincome...n-money-online/ and found it quite helpful. Have you used any sites that allow you to get paid for writing-related things? How much money did you earn? Were you satisfied / was it worth it / would you do it again ? (Why or why not?)
i once had a friend who was paid like, $100+ per page to write grad level papers for a grad student but of course that's illegal you could write study guides for college courses -- those are legal, and you have a guaranteed market. if you aren't in that kind of position / don't have access to those materials/markets, then (from what i've seen around) you can try to sell your work to magazines/journals. straight commission writing sounds like something that would require 1) a very desperate and/or lazy party or 2) a strong reputation on your part, so that people just want you to write silly things for them. the page you linked to is pretty interesting, and you might stand a chance if you're willing to flex some social media muscles (the sites that are pay per view / pay per purchase) or you're willing to commit to a 'trade' (product reviews = becoming fluent in the product genre), but otherwise, hmmmm. HMMMMMM.
