This isn't rated R but unless it is self hosted with no ads you're going to be hard pressed to find a forum that is. And you said anything so, voila. Banner is a portkey to the new forum! (We recently moved.) The Hogwarts Online, is a virtual remake of Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbâtons, where you create, explore, and above all else have fun in a magical world! With all three of the schools from the books there is an endless avenue of fun, and three completely different magical experiences for you to enjoy and explore. With yearly site wide plots, and tons of smaller personal plots all along the way, the Tri-Wizard Tournament every Summer, and Pride Months for each house at each school. Weekly games and contests for house points for each school, as well as real life prizes given by the Administration for site-wide contests and activities. We have publications such as Witch Weekly and the Quibbler, and so much more. There really never is a dull moment on The Hogwarts Online, with a team of long time roleplayer and a group of friends that quickly turns into a second family, in a wonderful home away from home. No more signing up and waiting to be sorted for hours or even days, when you register you are created and sorted then redirected to the forums and ready to begin your magical journey. When you apply to become a Professor or School Staff Member, Ministry of Magic or St. Mungo's employee, or any of the various towns positions you will get approved and the character will be automatically created if they are new, and resorted if they are a currently existing character. Each term you will also be moved up a year based on how many Quills you earned that term automatically through this website/forum linked system, no waiting to be resorted into a higher year and no having to sit and be a year younger than others waiting on an Administrator to sort you. Welcome to Stoneview Ohio a small town that seems to be frozen in time, where change doesn't come often, and where periods of excitement are few and far between. There is only one shining star in this town; Gifford High. The high school is the only thing that keeps the town alive, it provides the pulse, it provides the action. There seems to be something a little off about this high school. The students seem just a little too perfect, like long lost princesses and storybook heroes. Students come from all across the world and often board at the school because they're so far from home which has locals scratching their heads. What's so special about the school that it attracts such marvelous students? From honors students to prime of their life athletes Gifford seems to attract them all. But you have to remember that it's not all fun and games. Where there are good people there are villains waiting for the perfect chance to take them down and you can't have a High School without the riff raff to go along with it. If you're honestly up for any genre, why not give Digimon a shot? Digital Dreams is an older site(about six years old) but its always looking for new members to join its little family. We're not a big site; we have around 15 active members. We have a very short Application; the only paragraphs you'll have to write are on the history and an RP sample and as long as your history covers all the basics and doesn't have us asking a bunch of questions, it only has to be a paragraph long. The RP sample should be a little longer; we like an example of your best possible work. We aren't R rated, unfortunately but we're an extremely strong PG-13 or a 2-2-2 on the RP rating scale. We don't mind violence or strong language; gore won't bother us as long as its not excessive. The only thing we really limit on is the sexual stuff and we do actually have a private forum for that kind of thing. You can just talk to an Admin and we'll set your account up to allow you to see it. As for characters, we do have a limit on how fast you can get a character but there's not really much of a limit on what your characters can be. We allow Digimon, Digimon Tamers, and Spirit Tamers as well as tamers that are from any dimension or time in history. So you could have a character from the 1920's or a character from the 3000's. Your tamers have to be Human, I'm afraid... We only allow original characters; we don't do playbys really but if you make a note somewhere that you're using Shay Mitchel, we could make an optional playby thread to keep track of it. We're a low key site and fairly old fashioned. We welcome all levels of RPers as long as they have a basic grasp of the English language. We're very proimprovement. We like to help our members excell and have fun at the same time. And while we're up for all levels of writers, we expect everyone to put forth an effort. The majority of our current members are Intermediate to Advanced with a few beginner levels. We don't have a word count but we really prefer if you write at least a paragraph so that your fellow RPers have something to go off of. The Next Adventure (Doesn't work on internet explorer. Firefox and chrome are okay though) It's the year 2017. Voldemort was defeated in the final battle 19 years ago. Harry Potter and the rest of the gang are sending or have sent their kids to Hogwarts where Minerva McGonagall continues to lead as Head Mistress. Kingsley Shacklebolt is the Minister of Magic and has put the Ministry back on it's feet. All seems well in the wizarding world. However there are whispers of a dark power returning. An unknown man causing trouble here and there. It's nothing big yet and no-one can figure out who he is but even after 19 years, people still have faint worries of Voldemort returning. Fear is slowly starting to creep back into the minds of those who thought they were safe and Kingsley is trying his hardest to hunt down the trouble-maker and get on top of the situation.
