Organization: You have a good start on the origination but I'd love more info. To me there doesn't appear to be much about the locations they're living in. I know it is mentioned in the history but I think a more detailed description in its own thread wouldn't be amiss. Is it close to the sea? Is there a large forest near by? Fields? Rocky cliffs? Mountainous? Things like that, I'd love to have some documentation about the lay out of the fortress and the villages, the surrounding areas, maybe even some maps. I love maps.

There are some typos in the 'summary and terms' topic, I see 'f.eks' showing up here as well as in the rules. I would carefully read every topic (or at least just ctl+f on every page) to find and remove them.

In the Handbook I would pin the Newbie Handbook and the Site Rules, those are the two most important things.

Your rules are way too wordy and many of them too complex. Each bullet point should be 1 rule, not several crammed together.

Also you need to remove some of the weaker language, should implies there is possibility of doing it another way. There is no advertising outside the advertising board so just say that!

You do not mention an activity policy, which is just asking for trouble. To me inactive is no posts in 30 days, but to other people that is just a normal activity slump. You need to impose a time limit, it will save you headaches later.

I'm confused by your PB rule, is it just you want human only PBs? You can say that, the rest of the exposition isn't needed, because I'm confused if you want to use PBs that were only in historical movies or not.

In the canon list the images need to be the same size, having them different sizes looks very very sloppy.

The sidebar has absolutely everything you need, good job!

Appearance: I have to admit, I don't like the skin. Its very good for a first one, better than mine was!, but I can't get behind the pink. Pink and green are good colors together, but I think that pink is a little bright to go with the green, I'd suggest playing with the hue to find something a bit more muted. I think the white is a bit hard to read against the green, I would maybe think about changing it to a pale creamy yellow? I don't know exactly but that should be toyed with too. I also think that the runic font you're using is incredibly hard to read.

I'm not a big fan of the tiled picture in the background, I'd toy with someone to make it look better, because on my screen I have 1 row of flowers on the left and 2 rows on the right.

When I went to 'find all posts' when I clicked on the admin accounts there is a black box around the outside of the title field. This is very annoying and should be removed.

Personally I hate the

code with a passion. I think you shouldn't use it at all, but especially in the site history, it just makes things hard to read in my opinion. I would also put a line break between the end of the paragraph and the pretty image you use there, to make it look less cramped.


Layout: As far as I can tell a habitant is a specific type of French settler, the more correct term would be 'inhabitants'.

For a new site you have just the right amount of IC forums, it is enough to keep things from not being all scrunched and enough to give it a good feel. I'd only suggest maybe making one category for the Viking stuff and one category for the Amazon stuff and adding in a general 'everywhere else' forum for each, just so RPs that might not fit into any of the other areas have a place.


Staff: Found them on the sidebar, the admin is active but the other two mods don't appear to be so much, at least on their staff accounts but this could be because the site is so new so I wouldn't worry about it.

General Feedback: You have an interesting idea, one that I'd never have thought of. I think that with a dedicated group of people you could have something pretty awesome here, keep up the good work.
