As the title says I'm Blue and I'm saying hello! I joined RPG-directory a while back to find help about creating site layouts for the hell of it. Now that I have a site of my own, I figured i should get to work on those 15 posts! I have been rping for years now, working on about ten years now if I calculated right. I'm 22, a girlie, and live in the pacific northwest. I love rping [obviously] and I've gotten into making graphics and photo manipulations recently.
Welcome to RPG-D, Blue! The title of your welcome thread... I always thought it was, "I'm blue double dee double die"... yes, I'm the King of Misheard Lyrics. You make graphics sand photo manipulations? That's really neat =) Are you going to post them here on RPG-D any time soon?

And I just noticed that we have much in common: we're both 22, both girlies, love RPing, and have recently gotten into messing around with graphics. Though I don't live in near the pacific at all. I must travel at least a day by car in order to get to the closest ocean. Welcome to the Midwest, I supposed. But about how long have you been doing manipulations?

@ Brother Nature I actually thought the same thing but thought it was a good idea to look up the lyrics first before using! I'm thinking about it, not sure just yet! @ Slant Thanks! I'm glad to be here! ^^ @ Monee Love that song too and seeing as my nickname has been 'blue' for ages now, figured it was very fitting. That is pretty neat that we have some things in common, I actually live about two hours from the ocean so not as bad as a day's drive. Sorta close to everything where I'm at, 2 hours to the ocean, 1 hour to skiing/snowboarding, etc etc [I'm not into that stuff though I'm a darn klutz so I'd probably break my neck the first try!]. I have been doing manipulations not that long at all actually, about two months. I started by accident as I was messing around in photoshop making avatars and simply signatures when I figured out how to replace colors. One of my oldest continuously used characters has physical mutations so I just got all 'Oooo...I wonder if I can do this!' and yep, got to doing it that route. I am pretty proud of myself that I'm slowly getting better each time I open up photoshop to do something. What about you? How long have you started messing around with graphics? @ Jareth I do rp Harry Potter actually, one is a marauders-era I run {the reason why I'm working on my fifteen posts so i can advertise it!} the other is a post-harry that I have been a member of for ages. I also am a member of an X-Men based site, a Marvel based site, and a site based on the Game of Thrones series. I have rped on several original sites that range from futuristic, post apocalyptic, vampire/werewolves, medieval slave and more. Also, I have been on other Harry Potter based sites, a Once Upon a Time site, list just goes on and on. I really like...Anything to be honest with you. Some things I stick to say IM rps now such as slice of life, pokemon, slave, etc etc. @ StargateMatt Thank you!
Gaaaah I'm so shy though! Maybe later this week, I'm fixing up some my older ones of Ams {my gal with a physical mutation} to make them look better. *perfectionist*

That's so awesome to live only 2 hours away from the ocean and 1 hour away from skiing/snowboarding. I've only been skiing once, but I want to go again so badly and then learn how to snowboard. I'm a bit of a klutz (falling up and down stairs, tripping over my feet), but I do love things that usually require balance. I'm a living oxymoron! I guess I got my start with graphics a long time ago with dolling, basically pixelated barbies. Then I moved into using photoshop since I saw lots of people having these cool sigs and avatars for their characters. Then after that, I saw people on DeviantArt doing photo manipulations and I have tried my hand at them, though I don't think I'm very good. I'm trying to get better though.
@Kajouka Thank you so much! I'll be sure to do that <3 @Monee I'm not going to bother to try, I know how it is to fall up stairs too . But, at least i can enjoy the scenery with no worries about breaking my neck! You can do it! It takes practice and some frustration while at it. Granted I'm so stubborn that I do not give up trying to do something. I'll stop for air but then jump back into it!

@Jareth Oh geeze XD DARN YOU KITTY DARN YOU!! So blaming her for starting this lol! Anyways now I'm curious to like, how to get that rolling posting some of my manips. I glanced around and I'm just all 'okay my navigational skills are le-suck'.
@Jareth DOH! Thank you tons kind sir. I swear I need to get stronger glasses and I just had these new lenses filled x-x; Edit: I gave in and made a darn portfolio, I seriously hope I did not break any rules by doing several posts in there so I can have everything nice and organized. Linky here
