Hello. It's me again. I kinda need serious help with graphics but I don't really know where to look at all. Can someone help me? I realized how bad I am with forum graphics. So I'd figure I ask for some advice and maybe help. I'm really really bad at looking for graphics. I have tried the sites suggested on my other advice request post. But still I'm really confused about everything. I know I have a lot to improve in terms of graphics but I'm kinda annoyed because of limited choices I have since I don't really know how to code or anything. It'd be nice if I can perhaps get some advice to graphics in general or just like how to get help with graphics and stuff like that. Thank you very much in advance for your advices and help.

The 'D has a graphics request section right here that you should definitely take advantage of! Caution 2.0, Shadowplay, and Red Carpet and Rebellion are all great sites to request graphics as well.

The 'D and all of the places I listed above also have tutorials and things that can help you, too. Shadowplay actually offers classes that you can take on their site, taught by a real person. If you're interested, that might help you out. :D

And no worries about being not so great about graphics - that's why you ask for help! It's not a necessary part of running a forum either, not when there are many great artists that would love to take your requests. :D

In addition, we actually have an area of the 'D just for talking about design and resources right here with lots of threads about various resources you can take advantage of.

You don't need to know how to code to put up graphics. At most you just need to know where to stick the image urls.

As for my favorite resources? It depends on what I'm making. If I'm making graphics with a people-centric focus, I go to fan sites for celebs, model galleries (such as Bellazon, Fashion Model Directory and Model Mayhem) and listal. If I need textures and stock I check out deviantart stock (always be sure o check TOS of the individual artist). If it's fandom specific, I go the fan galleries of the fandom as well as hitting up fan sites of celebs that have stared in the films to snag some photos of them as they appeared in the fandom. If I'm looking to make things like thread markers, I usually search for brush sets or font packs on Deviant art or DaFont and find some suitable symbols for use.

Also, you can watch/read tutorials all over the internet to learn how to make your own graphics as a whole, if you were so inclined? That's how I started.

I guess I'm still a little new around resources and stuff. Thanks everyone for such great advices so far. ^_^ Oh by the way, anyone know any place with good free-to-use anime-themed graphics? Finding other types of graphics seems simple enough but when I try to look for specific types of anime-themed graphics, it always gets me stuck because everytime I found something that I thought was suitable, that thing always has a block either by the user's or site's ToS or just general restrictions like no downloading or copying and stuff or that I have to pay to use them. I don't really have money lying around so anyone can suggest free anime-themed resources? thanks.

I'm honestly not sure about general anime, although I do use this site for face claims. I also use Zerochan for images. Alternately, you can always find some art at Deviantart and ask permission to use it in your graphics.

I tend to do that. Artists appreciate being asked. :) There are also people there who will do photo manips and provide photos for photo manips and graphics on there - just ask for someone to do it in the forums for you.

Thanks a lot for all your help. ^_^ I will be sure to look into the resources you all suggested. I appreciate all the help. I have really learnt a lot from RPG-D than anywhere else I've gone to.
(At least I know that people here don't bite. xD Some other places I've been to weren't as friendly. >_<') I hope to learn more soon in the near future. xD
