Hi there! I heard about this board through a member of a rpg board that I run and I'm very impressed with this place so far. It's very...how can I put this...neat would be the choice word.

I've been Role playing for four years now I've joined other rpg's but they usually falter. However my first and RPG that I am involved in is Starship Troopers RPG on Yuku.com. I've had a character there now for four years and it's still going strong.


The RPG that I personally run is a military science fiction rpg. I've taken the liberty of trying to create a original sci fi experience, although it's been influeced by any science fiction shows,movies etc that I've seen over the years. It's been rebooted three times now, actually it started out on yuku as my friend's project but he had to quit..then another friend of mine made it again but he had to quit as well. So this time I've taken the liberty of trying to do this on my own, although my graphics admin is wonderful haha. We arn't even through our second mission and I only have a few people posting. We had a lot of members but when we moved the board they just dropped off. So I decided to hopefully breathe fresh life into it here.

I won't try to give away the plot line as I'm trying to keep it a secret between the admins but probably the closest that I could say would be to try to imagine the most epic novel you've ever read.

I forgot to introduce myself, I'm 23 years old and am going to college for my bachlor's degree in history. I still do not know what I want to do with it but I'm sure I can find something. I live in the United States and was born here as well. My family line can be stretched back to the american revolution. We are originally from Germany and Whales hahaha.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I usually create the storylines for the RPG that I help to find sometimes. Once I helped create a marine rpg board but it died two years later. The other admin did boot camp and then did the invasion of Iraq. However when we were about to have world war 3 with the chinese the players left because they wanted to fight insurgents not real armies.

The rpg that I have is original. I'm trying to do both a insurgency and a conventional enemey. I looked around at your own sci fi rpg boads...it seems that none of them have any military adventures hahaha.

Well thank you. As stated above I won't give away most of the plot line for the rpg. However I can give you a brief intro: The year is 3358 and Earth has reorganized itself under the UCR aka United Colonial Republic the official government of humanity. Humanity hasn't met any aliens at this point in time, there are no FTL drives, starships travel by going through worm holes aka warp points.

Also there is the only company in existence that is called Human Corporation. Human Corporation is the only place to get a job, from having private mercs, to making cars, films, meds etc it does anything that the government does not want to do. Human Corp also runs the private mercernary group Special Security which has mercs, intelligence agents and many other departments it's usually referred to as "S.S." The S.S. isn't as large as the armed forces but they are very important to the storyline that I have planned. And then there is the terrorist group known as the ARM which stands for Anonomus Resistance Movement. ARM was founded by a ex army general who wants to destroy Human Corporation due to a personal matter.


I only gave the intro on what the setting is. I took influences from the Aliens series and of course my fav sci fi show Babylon 5. I won't and don't want to give away the rest of the plot although that'll probably change a little when i can post the rpg ad haha. I tend to go for epic stories as you can tell.
