Hello this is my first graphics tutorial. This will only work on Photoshop because we use selective coloring, sorry GIMP, etc. people I know how you feel I'm only using my trial of Photoshop. We will be going from: to or Step 1: Open your model. This worked really well on my picture of Hailee Steinfeld because the background was a cyan color. Step 2: Selective Coloring time. I will be using no black in this tutorial. The values should be- Reds- cyan~ -100% magenta ~ +100% yellow ~ +100% Yellows- cyan~ -100% magenta ~ +100% yellow ~ +100% Cyans- cyan~ +100% magenta ~ -100% yellow ~ -100% Blues- cyan~ +100% magenta ~ +100% yellow ~ -100% Magentas- cyan~ -100% magenta ~ +100% yellow ~ -100% Whites- cyan~ +100% magenta ~ +67% yellow ~ +41% Neutrals- cyan~ +2% magenta ~ +10% yellow ~ -14% Hailee now looks like: Step 3: Create a new canvas of 100x100 px with a white background or transparent, it doesn't matter because it won't show. Step 4: Copy the selective coloring Hailee, be sure to do copy merged so you get both layers. Paste on your 100x100 canvas. Step 5: Now you get to resize your picture of your model however you would like. This is how it looked when I resized Hailee- Step 6: Next paste this texture on top of the icon. Step 7: Set the texture to Overlay at 60%- Step 8: I like to create a new transparent layer and take a small brush in white and make a diagonal line and set the layer at 64% opacity. It looks like- Step 9: Next I will add the text. Since I use Hailee as a model for a character on a site whose name is Addie I'm going to use Addie Coral as the text, but you can do whatever you want. The font is Pineapples Don't Have Sleeves Step 10: Rotate the text until it is at the angle of your diagonal line and over the line. That is an optional ending. Optional Step 11: If you would like to show off your coloring more you can take an eraser and go to the texture and erase over the model. That creates an optional ending that looks extremely similar, just there is more coloring on Hailee.
