    It varies for me! xD It's kinda interesting because when I put in posts of mine written for female characters, they come out female, while my male posts have come out male. *grin* Now I wanna try it out with my tomboys and crossdressers. Bahaha!

    My own journal entries came out as, well...both. xD Varies from entry to entry. I'm all over the place.

    I put in a post for a male character and it guessed male.

    I put in some of my journal entries, and it guessed female, which is correct.

    >.> I'm gonna have fun playing with this.

    Congrats Gender Genie, I am indeed female. You win ;)

    I did a short post too though... I was too lazy to find one of my longer ones.

    This is a very interesting topic - I put in a post that I had written, about a little blind girl -- and it guessed that I was a male.

    Then, I put in a segment about a woman rampaging through a bunch of people and slaughtering them to death - and it guessed that I was female {which is correct}

    Though I find that a bit ironic. Wouldn't you think them to be switched? ^__^

    I haven't tried any of my own blog entries yet, but I ran some entries from one of my character's journals, and while she's a girl and so am I, all but one came out male. She's mildly tomboyish, and like with Faux Romance's character, she's a Quidditch player and talks a lot about it, so that may explain things.

    Hahah, this was fun! I used a long sample RP I wrote for a character, and I was shocked.

    I'm like...twice as male as I am female. I find that funny. By the way, I am a girly. I didn't try any other posts, but I'm surprised this one pegged me as male because it was sort of an emotional passage. XD;;

    Thanks for the link! That was neat. XD

    It said I was female, which I am. I don't think it counts, though, b/c it was a female charrie and most of my points were from the "she's" and "her's" in the passage.

    It said I was a female, and I am. I ran it through a couple times on multiple characters, a couple guys, and only ONCE did it say I was a boy. The ones where my character is a boy though are much closer in points than those of my female characters.

    Yay?!

    I used posts with four different characters of mine, all male. It came up with a 2 male and 2 female for the writer. So apparently the genie thinks i am both o.O

    For my blog posts and RPG-D posts, it guessed correctly, that I was female. For most of my RP posts, it's guess matched the gender of the character I was writing, so I still give it a thumbs up.

    I tried a whole variety of fiction and blog posts. Usually, the genie guessed I was female with the female words outscoring the male ones by about 100-200. I write complex sentences with a lot of determinative pronouns. The "ands" and "withs" cancel out the "the's."

    I become a male only when there is a lot of aggression in my posts as has happened on a wiki where three characters, two male drug pushers, and one young man who is absolutely broke but wants no part of the drug trade would all like to beat the excrement out of eachother. The heated language becomes short and choppy, and my gender "changes."

    Originally I did four different RP posts, and it guessed that I was a male every time, but then I went back and did one more. Then it said I was a female, but I think four out of five correct guesses is pretty accurate!

    Definitely wrong!

    I posted a piece of writing for a female character, I am female myself, and it guessed that the writer was male.

    scientific paper: male
    androgynous female-bodied character: female (but very closely matched)

    I don't think I have any male character posts that are the optimum length. I'm female, by the way.

    (NOTE: The genie works best on texts of more than 500 words.)

    Female Score: 2541
    Male Score: 2562

    The Gender Genie thinks the author of this passage is: male!

    It was wrong every time I did it. But the test has more to actually do with the writing style of the person then anything else.

    I ran a few things through it, and it told me I was female the entire time. Of which... is correct.

    On an RP sample of a girl, they guessed I'm a girl.
    On an RP sample of a BOY, they guessed I'm a guy.
    I must be really good at doing points of view! XD

    But really I'm a girl. So I just put girl anyway since they guessed it right the first time.
