i'm not sure if the background is loading or not. if it is then it's taking FOREVER to do it. are you uploading to the board's file manager or to somewhere like tinypic/photobucket?
Image Shack, that's strange because now it's a tile background so you'd think it would take less time to load. I think actually image shack is having some issues right now though, the server keeps going out on me >.> *snort*
imageshack is always slow for me. and when it's not reliable, you should consider uploading it to your board instead of another file server (e.g. in the permissions settings where it says "Read - Start - Reply - Upload" and then you post and choose something to upload) if you want it to be at least a little more reliable. some people don't always get access to imageshack, too. XD like there are some people who can't view tinypic or photobuckets.
Honestly image shack has always worked for me (or photobucket) so I've just never thought of it. Give me a second, I'll upload it to the board. It's pretty bizarre that it isn't working because all the other images are from image shack. Actually like half of them are from image shack I should say, then the other half is from photobucket. Yeah I think so. The only thing that made me possibly put light is because the forum bg is off-white. I'm really glad the bg is working for you now.
