Short forum description: The Reaper War ended thanks to Captain Anderson's sacrifice, the Reapers retreating back into dark space. The Citadel and the Cruicible orbit Earth, millions of aliens are stranded in the Sol System, and galactic society is plunged back centuries with the mass relays destroyed. The greatest minds in the Sol System trawl the Mars Archives to try and rebuild the mass relays but nothing is ever easy. Then there are the rumours that Cerberus is not dead and that not all the Reapers have retreated.

Oriana Lawson is smart, friendly, unprejudiced, and cheeky. Basically, she's the complete opposite of Miranda and is the sole reason why Miranda seems to have a heart at all. In the six months after the Reaper War ended, Oriana lived with her sister in Sydney but Miranda recently moved to the Citadel to serve again under Commander Shepard. Henry Lawson's considerable assets have fallen to Miranda, who runs them from afar with the intent of handing over the reigns to Oriana if she wants it. If not, Miranda is happy for her sister to sit on a trust fund.

Plots:

• Keeping Miranda from falling into her old ruthless ways. This would be an ongoing sisterly plot more to do with character development on both sides.
• That Oriana is the heir to the massive Lawson fortune cannot stay a secret forever, even for Miranda. Desperate times breed desperate people and Oriana is a prime target.
• Spectre Kaidan Alenko has his own squad and is on the hunt for talented biotics. Although Oriana is a civilian, there's more than enough room to give her weapons/biotic training in the years since she found out about Miranda. There was a war, after all.
