So here I sit in my office....trying not to throw up cause I'm @ work with a fever still. I'd be home if I could but I can't. Anyway.....I'm on lunch and looking at my nook wondering.....hey! if i had NOOK friends, we could share books. SO, it led me to this Do you NOOK? If so, how about we become friends and share! Here's a little bit about me and what's in my NOOK library: SleepEnBeauty@yahoo.com I tend to read what peeks my interest but I do tend more towards Fantasy/Paranormal Romance. Although I do read: Real Life Murder Mysteries, Historical Books, Modern Romance, and some others. Titles you'll find in my library: JR Ward, Gena Showalter, Jacquelyn Frank, Nora Roberts, Lara Adrian, Alexandra Ivy, Cynthia Eden, Larissa Ione, Susan Mallory, and Karen Marie Moning to name a few. NOOK'ers (that sounds sooo dirty >DD) unite!!
I've never understood the whole Nook sharing thing. Can I share any of the books in my library? If so, that would be awesome! Now I just need to figure out how to add people as friends...
As long as they are lendable, you can lend them to your Nook Friends. I have a nook! findingavalon@live.com is my email for my nook, haha.
I nook! I can't wait to get a Nook Tablet. :D *squees* I'll just have to give my brother my old one with all my books on it. *snickers*
I have a nook! I would lend if I have the right books... but uh.. I have NO idea how to become friends. Any directions?
I don't NOOK, but not because of some pretentious thing about books being better or anything. I'm just poor. But that seems very cool.
I have no desire to have a NOOK, I download some books and things on my computer from time to time, but not a lot and I prefer to have a real physical paper copy of the book. I don't know why it just makes me hapier to hold that and read it and after a while see the frayed pages and stuff.
For some reason I have a Nook. I don't particularly like it. I keep accidentally finding myself 10 chapters away when I try to turn a page. I don't think e-books are evil or anything, though, and I think it would be really convenient for travelling if only I actually liked using it.
