I decided to move our discussion of Second Life and MMO roleplaying to a new thread so not to keep derailing the other thread. So you all know, I can make SL animations, so I just throw something together whenever I want it badly enough. They're not real fancy, but they usually do the job. I've tried nearly all the HP sims, some of the high schools, most of the sci fi sims, and a couple fantasy sims. Fantasy isn't really my favorite genre, but there's some good sims around for it. Burned out of Starfleet. They are so structured, and they only RP for a scheduled two hours a week, which drove me crazy. Visited the Sci Fi Con this week and was really disappointed, though I saw an interesting SW Naboo RP. There was a couple fantastic Firefly sims, but they shut down. I prebought Guild Wars 2, but my guild from GW1 about drove me crazy during beta, so I'm reconsidering playing with them. Currently on Eternal Grove. They're not RP, but I can see how it might be a good venue. I would have loved SWTOR, but my guild in that pretty much deserted me. Don't join guilds where everyone else is couple, FYI...
