Aki's Fantasy Designs

Hi there! I'm Aki! I'm new to graphics and am somewhat decent according to folks at my portfolio. For examples feel free to take a look at my portfolio.

I can do many things, but, I'm not very good at blending. My primary strength is text and some simple maps. I'm actually seeking to start designing fantasy land maps. Please feel free to make a request. I did recently create a space territory / features map, click here. I don't have any land based ones to share, but, I'm eager to make new ones! Land Type: Continent, portion/side view of land, or island?
How large is the land?
Description of the land?
Any rough ideas/sketches?
Any major geological features (desert, mountains, lakes, rivers)?
What are the major towns/cities/outposts to be noted?
Are you okay with some creative modifications? Basically correction, expansion of some lines so the map doesn't seem too boring or barren?

I do not take more than 3 requests at a time. One regular graphics request and up to 2 maps requests please. You have nothing to lose, right?

Land Type: Island
How large is the land? Something that can fit in the Caribbean Sea; a little over two hundred miles from the northern most tip of Columbia .
Description of the land? Tropical island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea
Any rough ideas/sketches? My rough and inadequate tinkering with some free map making software. http://www.utopiarising.net/Graphics/Delman.jpg
Any major geological features (desert, mountains, lakes, rivers)? The island would have a mountain in the middle of the island with a couple smaller mountains around it; perhaps an inactive volcano. Surround the mountains is dense jungle that would thin out the further from the mountain you’d get. There should be some marshland/swamp in the North West of the island as well. The rest is really up to you, I put in some features in my map but whatever you think would look best. Only other thing that needs to be in there is in the South near the capitol there should be some rocky cliffs nearby.
What are the major towns/cities/outposts to be noted? The island’s name is Sanura. There is a capitol in the south (marked on the map I did) called Delman. The Northern most town is called Caracal (also marked on the map. The city in the North West; in the marshland is called Felid. No other cities or towns though I may add some myself later.
Are you okay with some creative modifications? Yes, that’s fine as long as the cliffs are there next to the capitol.

I finished the trees and plains. The file size is quite large. Hope that's okay. I'm going to bed now, I'll add the cliffs/mountain range and the swampy area. And I'll go onto adding cities. Sure! I'm bad at city layout. I can draw it, but, I can't make it pretty in Photoshop yet. . I'm trying to learn that.

Okie dokie. I only have one city layout that I've hand drawn but I don't need it rendered so you should be in the clear! Unless you want to use it to help you learn? Will work on my scanner later and hopefully have some more for you.
