        Another option is to opt to wait for a "omg we're dying should we close?" or a call for staff to step up to the task and take over the reigns. Doing this gives you more credibility as it doesn't look like you're power hungry.

        A third option is to start a public thread for everyone to see on your forum. Everyone will likely back you, but there will be a massive drama fall-out. This isn't good for the site, and immature staff are likely to ban/delete you on the spot for it. If you're simply looking for vengeance, this is your not-so-nice but very easy option. If you love the site, you don't want to do this.
