        That's definitely how I feel about it right now! It's doubled because, when apps came in (somehow, like, four at once), I informed folks that it was finals week AND I'm working literally every day this week, so there may be a wait and to be patient. But I guess some people forget. :|

      I just...I seriously cannot understand how people can work so hard on putting a unique, interesting, gorgeous site, then throw their hands up when it doesn't have a ton of players in the first month. I WOULD HAVE JOINED YOUR SITE, HAD YOU BEEN ABLE TO PROVE YOU WERE DEDICATED.

        Haha, yeah, I don't really MEAN 'prove you're dedicated', just give it a bit more time before you close your site down. Especially sites that have promise, because they're unique plots that no one else is doing. Of course it will be tough to get members with something just outside someone's comfort zone (in this case, it's a fandom site with one big twist), but there will be people who will go 'oh gosh, that really sounds cool!', like myself, and check...

      I somehow feel that, if you're a new site with less than twenty members, your advert rules shouldn't require sites advertising on your forum to have twenty members or more. It's just a LITTLE hypocritical. ALSO, affiliates and regular adverts are two different things. JSYK.
