      My favourite thing about working in retail is when people try to get a refund for products THEY DIDN'T EVEN BUY HERE.

        Once, a customer tried to make me take back a book that he bought at our store, or so he said, without a receipt. Wouldnt have been a problem if the book didnt look as if 40 people already read it! People who leave their books in the sun on a hot day should be fined for maltreatment of books! He didnt accept my no, and demanded to see the manager... who also said no.

        Maybe this is just me being a word nerd, but new slang is one of my favourite things about the internet. I think it's a lot of fun to see how people cobble different words together.
