    I loved the ending, too, although I think Prim's death was kind of ... surreal? That might be teh right word ... it just doesn't seem quite like it actually happened, it was just a moment and then she was gone.

    I agree. I wasn't even sure she was dead until Katniss broke down over it. I kind of liked that though, author didn't suspend the first person POV to explain it.

    When my boy was very little, he ALWAYS used to wake up crying/hungry when I was cooking my own breakfast. There were about 6 weeks straight where I never ate a warm meal.

    Sorry. But at least you know what to expect... my sister went through hell 5 weeks ago with incompetent midwives, and over 16 hours later wound up in the hospital with an unforeseen c section.

13+ years online ranging from forums to MUDS to IM to email. Genres I've participated in have included from original fantasy, X-Men, Harry Potter, DBZ, and Star Wars.

Staffing Experience:

I've been creating boards for the last 8 years or so, but have only been staffing long-term for the last 4 years. I currently am not staff anywhere because of recently having a baby, but I'm thinking about starting to staff somewhere again soon.

How did you get into roleplay?:

I sort of graduated from playing pretend to writing and RPing. It was a very natural transition ... plus RPing online was easier than finding a live group in my area.

Hi, I'm Emily, better known around the 'D as Emilita. I've been here since November of '09, and I participate a lot. I'm active in threads, I skin, I do graphics, I make templates ... oh, and I really like collecting shinies. They're mine, I tell you, all mine!

I'm 25, married, and have two sons. Both their birthdays are in February, which probably says something very TMI about my natural rhythms ... Anyway, RP is one of my main hobbies, and I participate in a variety of genres. Harry Potter, historical, DBZ, wolf, real life, Marvel ... I'm also considering joining a big cat or lion site, because they seem like they'd be an interesting contrast to wolves. Cheetahs would be cool, but you'd have to play either males or really young ones to have more than occasional interactions. It's a symptom of watching Big Cat Diary, I think.

Although I haven't been reading as much lately as I used to, I still love books. Some of my favorites include Ender's Game, Einstein's Dreams, the Harry Potter series, the Wheel of Time series, and anything by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I also have a bit of a guilty pleasure in the Twilight saga, but I gave up half way through the 50 Shades series when I realized they had a potentially awesome plot and were ignoring it in favor of cutesy date scenes and crappy sex scenes.

Oh, and my favorite pokemon is eevee.
