It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time!

You know those things you do that, as the title suggests, seemed like a good idea but really weren't particularly good ideas in the slightest? xD It sounded like a fun idea for a thread, so I made one. :sweat: Anyone done anything recently that perhaps they shouldn't have? xD

As for myself, I am currently revelling in my decision to have a few too many drinks at the pub last night. A pitcher or two of cocktails when I had an exam the next day seemed like a good idea at the time. >__>

It seemed like a good idea at the time to go on a run with my dog.

Then it started to rain

It always seems like a good idea to sit at the computer/TV for another 3 minutes.

But then you realize you should be waking up in 3 hours or less and you hadn't even gone to sleep yet.

It seemed like a good idea to work this morning.

Then I found the mess one of the lads had made.

It seemed like a good idea to go watch my friends play football, but then when I got there I remembered it's winter and I'm in the north, and promptly froze.

It seems like a good idea to check everything on last time before going to bed, until that one last time takes an hour.
It seemed like a good idea to get high with friends until I realized that pot and I don't go very well togetherrrrrr.
It seemed like a good idea to drink a bottle of coke because I was tired, until I realized that I hadn't really eaten anything and coke on an empty stomach hurtsss.
Ohohoh. It seemed like a good idea to go to guitar lessons without jacket on, but then I realized that lessons are in a basement of a building, and it's cold there.

I will have more, because I do these kinds of things allll the time.

I was reading in the car, and because we were going through the mountains, it seemed like a good idea to open the window so I wouldn't get sick. It was raining at the time, so after I got nice and wet, I shut the window again x.x

It seemed like a good idea to walk across the estuary in sports shoes, except that the estuary is quite wet. My brother had to piggy-back me xD

It seemed like a great idea to wear earplugs when I was in town (out clubbing) because the sound hurts my ears and I have hearing problems as it is. The plug even fit around my tragus piercing okay. Until I pulled it out and flicked the ring completely around and made it bleed ><

It seemed like a good idea to agree to my Mum's request and help drive my sisters friends to her birthday party.

Now I have a headache and I'm slightly deaf. Ten 9-10 year old girls, the decibel level was off the chart.

It seemed like a good idea to hit the snooze button.

Now I'm late.

It seemed like a good idea to eat the food that my roommate cooked for me, now I am REALLY sick
