Greetings all. I am Jalisa and I usually am not one of those types of people to talk for some reason, but I do have a big personality once people get to know me out of forums. I'm just odd like that.

I am big into the paranormal which I do paranormal research and also have a paranormal society. I also practice energy work and do past life regressions. I guess you can call me a spiritual person. I would to meet people who are interested in the REAL paranormal, not what is in books. Besides that, I love dancing and of course RPing and reading. I have an Anita Blake orginal rpg that I so love with my friends.

Took me awhile to actually post on here since I hate introducing myself. Yeah..

Allo! Yeah, I never have anything interesting to say. ><

Anita Blake = Love.

Paranormal = Interested, but I don't know much. Ghost Hunting has always appealed to me, and it would give me time to write...Plus interesting plot ideas.

What's your favorite book? I'm going with How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found orrr.....Fire & Hemlock.

I Was into the paranormal for a while. Before my mother died, then a bit more after. I was more into the straight up ghost stuff, I even sent a thing into Ghost Hunters, they mentioned letting me try out but my dad wouldn't let me go.

Now as for the talking, talk a lot. Everyone here is uber nice, I mean hey. As a crazy and horrible person as I am, they warmed up to me. They gotta like you.

Welcome to the ship of many tales.

Thank you all for the friendly welcome. There is something about introducing myself that I never know what to say. I don't want to sound boring, nor do I want to put all information about me out there. It is so much easier to do in person.

Lol, I know ghost hunting would be the first thing everyone would mention since that is what most people identify with the paranormal. I don't do that type of thing. First, I'm too much of a sensative and I will hear spirits, which I am use to. Second, I don't want to go looking for trouble because spirits are naturally drawn to me due to me being able to hear them. I mainly teach people about the "other side", especially elements. I help people a lot with developing their psychic abilities and shielding among other things. Paranormal is an interesting subject, but ghost hunting isn't for me.

Nadja, you do tarot readings? If you do, so do I, but I hate giving so many readings because it is draining. I know it doesn't really make money, but try parapsychology, which is what I am trying to study, but of course I have to go through Psychology and not a lot of schools in the USA offer parapsychology sadly.

Damn Taryn, that would have been great if your father would have let you. Actually a good experience, epsecially if you would have made it past try-outs then get scared :p.

To answer your question duskXtillXdawn, I don't really have a favorite book because it depends on my mood. In The Forest Of The Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes has been book I've always enjoyed since middle school, but I'm not sure its my favorite. Fire & Hemlock sounds familiar, but I don't think I have read that book or the other one.

Cait, that is cool. No shame in being chicken lol. Sometimes it is for the better.

Luke, you're a monster. Do you have any idea how many hours of searching I'm going to have to do now just to find out what I said? Dx

haha yeah, ghosts are most commonly linked to "the paranormal" but meh.

yeah, i read. i also ouiji but, it seems, the only way it works it with me and my cuz because i can only get answers if she's the one with the eye o.O NOOOO idea how that works out but it's whatever.

mostly, i read for family. it rarely effects me but my readings are never accurate for myself. probably because i put a little bias in my readings but shh. dun tell anyone

LOL, thank you Luke, but seeing spirits isn’t all what is seems. Sometimes its like seeing a quick glance of something moving from the corner of your eye and other times it is seeing something dead on. You never know, you might see something one day. x.x

Ah okay Nadia. I wouldn’t do ouiji at all. Not my cup of tea, plus to me it seems a bit dangerous. LOL, maybe that is your thing though so I’m not going to knock you for it. It just freaks me out lol. Also, you shouldn’t be that way if giving a ready missy lol. It takes a lot of out me since I put my energy to giving an accurate reading.

Nice to meet you Eaon! -waves- Paranormal is just what I like, but I rp paranormal/sci-fi/fantasy.
