Okay so as a moderator interested in things for members I wanted to get feedback on what you guys thought about RPG-D hosting member awards. We tried this in April of this year but we did not get much feedback. when we dived head first into it, so just let us know what you think. Vote in the poll and reply with your thoughts

Is there any particular reason why you are skeptical

Hmm...well, I guess I'm skeptical because this site has like 3,000 something members. O___O And there are so many helpful people around. It'll be hard to choose from so many people. But yeah, I don't know, lol. I guess it all depends on the member awards categories and stuff. But yeahh, I'm a noob at the site, what do I know?? ^^;;

Don't be silly, just because you are new does not mean you do not have an opinion this matter. I'll give you a bit of background information on what I was thinking we should do.

Do like ten/five you know fun awards like most funniest and so forth. Class clown, most naive, most like a superhero, for a few and then perhaps two major awards awarded by the staff. Because the actual funny awards would be nominated and voted for by the members, do you see? How does that sound?

Ooh!! That sounds pretty fun! I like how the members will be able to vote for the funny awards. I'm totally for this now, ahaha. (cool)

I love the idea. =] There are some instances where I could understand why members would skeptical, because they might think you're playing favorites, but if the members can vote and there are more than just the typical "Most Helpful," "Most Active," then I don't see why you shouldn't do it. RPG-D is a site with good, friendly staff and members so I don't think there'll be too much of a problem making it unbiased and as member-involved and interactive as possible.

I think this is going to be very fun, and good, and all that stuff... with all the different categories there is also a bigger chance of winning things and stuff. I'm all for this!

Well, obviously there should be some like Most Helpful and Most Active, but those might be better decided by staff.

- Funniest
- Best Advice
- Smartest (might want to change the wording of that though?)
- Most Mature (? i dunno, lol)
- Best Sites
- Wittiest
- Nicest
- Best Graphics
- Nicest Signature(s)
- Most ____ Topics (for instance, Most Interesting Topics, Funniest Topics, etc.)
- Wannabe Moderator (someone who's really helpful and always online, who members think could be or wants to be a mod, lmao)

Its seems like a awesome idea, hosting awards seems like fun. I would go for it, ive hosted Awards before it was Fun to me. Just deciding Who deserves what was the hardest Part.

but yeah again i would go for it.

I voted yes. ^_^ This happens every so often at the SZ and it always works, (well, more or less) and that's just by normal members. If you do it, I'm sure it will end out brilliant. =]
