Super Mario is an extremely popular game so why, may I ask, is there not a single RPG based off our famous plumber's games? Is it because there are too many places or is it that we have Zelda and that's already popular enough? Do tell. I'm very interested in this fact that I've noticed.

There have been Mario RPGs in the past, but they have all gone inactive.

I would not have one clue how to roleplay on a mario RPG, or how a mario RPG would look like o.O.

*laughs* Wow, that's true...that seems like it would be a hard board to maintain (after all, it's a bit of a leap from stomping on mushrooms to writing posts) but there are so many crazy and interesting boards out there, I'm surprised nobody's tried it. And think of the great plots you could have! You could have members who like Mario and those who prefer Luigi compete. It'd be funny.

I agree that it would be difficult. Though I would like to see one, if nothing else, just to see how it would be run.

Gee...now that I'm thinking about this, I think it's been nearly 10 years since I've played a Mario game. Now my interest is sparked. I'll need to find a friend who has a current game and con them into letting me play, lol.
