Established in 1971 by John Casablancas, EMM has since managed many of the world's top models. As some of you may know, EMM's strategy is clean and simple: quality models that are carefully selected and managed by the best with the best strategy. Now for some time Elite, after many weeks of hard decision making, decided that they would close of all applications and open calls for new models. Can you say controversy? I sure can. And thats exactly the word to describe it all. People started rumors about having low funds or the end of EMM completely, but no one knew the true story. The thing was, Elite was making room for some big changes and they needed to refrain from taking anymore models in until then. When news got out about the revamp at Elite everyone was ecstatic, to say the least. This meant new models which meant that many people would get a try at being the new face of EMM. If you weren't already aware, Elite took in just about anyone with the right shape, size and that specific look. No one at this agency looked the same, even remotely. Thats why everyone knew an Elite model from anyone else. Thats why everyone wished they were and Elite model. Now Elite is back in action and everyones out there, trying to get recognized. | Asia had invited Christian to Toyo's for lunch for more than just a friendly chat. Way more. See, the last time they'd been together was the first time they'd ever done more than kiss. The whole thing had been kind of a quick thing and thats how Asia managed to remember how this had happened. She knew something was wrong that whole time, yet failed to stop herself, or him for that matter. Now she knew, when you feel somethings not right make sure to stop. She laughed to herself. A bitter laugh. How could she have been so stupid? It'd been nearly 2 weeks and to say the least she'd been sick for most of that time and she clearly knew why. Asia had gone to her doctor's office the day before and the news was anything but what she wanted to here. She was pregnant. Oh boy how this sucked. For one, she was only 19. Sure she was almost 20, but still. That's too young. And she learned that from her mother. Asia sighed as she sat at the table, waiting for Christian to get there. She took a sip of her water then set the glass on the table. Usually icy water could calm her nerves, but in this situation? Yea right. See, the thing is Asia wasn't looking to settle down, yet at the same time she didn't want to be a single mom. Especially when she was still very young. All those thoughts flooded her mind causing a major head ache. One question kept running through her mind: How could I have been so stupid? It wasn't like Asia was a virgin or anything. It was just all those other times she'd remembered. Then again, she wasn't usually close friends with the guy, nor did she have a big crush on them. She figured she'd just wanted to do it. And she knew he wanted it too. The waitress walked over to her table again and asked if she'd like to order yet. Asia replied with a polite no and, instead, asked for another glass of water. All she could do now was wait. And thats what she had to do. This whole thing would be a bunch of waiting. She knew that much. Then something hit her. What about her job? How was this going to look? Well.. at least the daddy wasn't some nobody. She laughed to herself again. Wow this was majorly sucking. |
