Hi Glo! I'm currently in the middle of renovating a board that went dormant a few months ago, and I could really use a graphics admin and/or a mod. It's a bit of a real life RPG with elements of sci-fi, but nothing concerning space or aliens and such. If you'd like to consider signing up for Prudence, here's the plot:
Terminate anxiety; contacting your nearest prudence organization will first tell you if in fact you are the victim of unauthorized intrusions, and then, on your instructions, nullify these intrusions -- at moderate cost to you.
This is not the 1992 we know. Man has evolved, and technology along with him. Psychics walk among us, giving rise to a whole new definition of paranoia. In this day and age, you never know who's hired a Psi to look into your head. Were it not for the Inertials, psychics whose counter-talent negate that of the Psis, everyone else without a developed Supralobe is vulnerable to intrusion. These inertials have come together under Prudence Organizations, companies which can, at the right price, preserve your privacy. Better yet, your secrets.
Based on Phillip K. Dick's Ubik, Prudence explores a dilapidated vision of the near future. Where even the furniture is coin-operated. Where you can't cheat death, instead avoid it in the cryonic suspension of half-life. Where Norms, Inertials, and Psis live in uneasy coexistence. And everything is for sale.
