I own my own site, which I can give a link to with the proof of this conversation. But last night when I left my site, a member I requested to be banned went onto my site.

Normally this wouldn't have bothered me, but this person admitted loud and clear he was stealing from my site. I don't know who I am supposed to report this to. I really, really want this sorted. The member is on your site to -name removed-, and I have a copy of the conversation I had with him last night saved onto my computer, whether that would help or not I don't know.

The thing is, I did help him create his site, and linked him to my site, so in away I guess it kind of is my fault. But is there a way I can stop him? Get his site taken down? Anything? I have never stollen anything before, material off other sites, so I guess I am taken this to heart a little more than I should.

Has anyone got any advise, and help. I really want it stopped, my sites not big, and its not as if its completely original being a Harry Potter site, but the ideas and twists and plot are mine. There must be something I can do to claim the work as mine......

Please, this is not a conversation for the entire board. All ripping incidents should be reported to an online staff member. Please be sure to include as much evidence as possible in your PM, as well as any links/screen shots you may have. The staff will then review them and proper action will be taken.

Also remember, those actions will only go as far as RPG-D. Only IF can take sites down if it has been proven that a forum broke the rules. You can report sites yourself to IF too.
