Well as you may or may not know member awards have been attempted before and it is an idea that the staff are very keen on and believe will boost community activity. But before we start chucking polls and votes at you, we thought it would be wise to actually gain your opinion on it. So here is a poll to gain it.

Definitely yes. : ) I think it would help increase activity, as well as productivity (not the word I wanted to use, but I couldn't think of another). It would be great if there were a lot of different categories to be nominated in. I say go for it; I love the idea of members being recognized for their efforts and activity on the forum.

i think yes as well because its nice to be able to publicly appreciate the people on the boards (even if for silly reasons) who have achieved things (like being the most enthusiastic greeter or most polite or something i guess). also on rpg-d because its so big i dont think it runs the risk of favouritism or leaving people out as it can do on smaller forums when people just vote for a small group of people.

erm. yeah. and it adds another thing to do and provides an incentive for people to get involved some more on the board so they can get a chance at winning some award.
