I'm actually looking for another admin for my wizarding school RPG Grove Academy. We're still putting things together, being as I have recently decided to move our boards from ezboard to invisonfree. But we have tons of plots we have to get together. Here's the history of the school, read it and if you're interested please contact me. :)

CODE
Started by witch Annabelle Hallaway on October 1, 1692, Grove Academy is the oldest wizarding school in the United States to focus on the instruction of young women and the development of their witchcraft. Though many hardships, Grove have persevered and have produced some of the world’s most famous witches.

Hard Beginnings

The tragic events of the Salem Witch Trials forever changed the practice of Witchcraft in the United States. While the male wizards happily went about their daily lives, their craft concealed, witches were being constantly attacked by the muggles. Very many witches of the day were caught and executed, for they refused to reveal themselves or their fellow witches. Many witches, for fear of being found out stopped practicing the craft. As the trials continued, more and more witches abandoned their magic and forced their families to do the same for their own protections.

It was one woman, Annabelle Hallaway, who stood up and made the choice that the next generation must be educated, without fear of being discovered by the muggles. She bought a small building on the outskirts of Amherst, Massescuttets and Grove Academy was born on October 14, 1692. Young girls from all over the colony came to be taught the art of witchcraft by Annabelle and members of her family. Basic anti-muggle charms were placed on the building so as to not provoke unwanted attention. When the witch trials finally ended, Annabelle had more than 50 students in her school and gaining more students by the day. It was time for expansion.

The Great Fire

As time went on, the school continued to grow, even without their founder. After a long and dedicated time as Grove’s headmistress, Annabelle died in 1750 at 82. With her death brought another Hallaway, Annabelle’s youngest daughter Sarah, into the esteemed position, having been chosen by Annabelle herself. At 45, Sarah was ready and willing to take the reins and continue her mother’s legacy. However, the school’s survival would be questioned by the escalating violence that would soon lead to America’s fight for independence.

With British muggle soldiers marching in the countryside and burning houses and villages, it became even more essential that the school and its inhabitants stayed secret for fear that their livelihood would be attacked. Despite Sarah’s efforts, the school’s seclusion would not last.

It was on a cold night on November 12, 1777 while everyone slept that the muggles had found the little school in the deep woods and set fire to it, believing it to be a safe haven for the colonial army. The students and teachers escaped without harm but the school was destroyed. The colonies’ magical council, which was started 20 years before, erased the memories of the muggles and set to work rebuilding the esteemed academy. The school was placed in its current location, deep within the woods as to not attract attention. More powerful anti-muggle spells were placed on the place so nothing of this nature would happen again. Grove reopened its doors a year later, to a growth of witches of all kinds and from both sides. By the time America had won the fight for independence, Grove had become the most esteemed of schools.

The Great War

The years that Britain and the world was terrorized by the evil one known throughout the Wizarding World as Lord Voldemort, the United States remained out of the conflict but very worried that it would not be long before the dark lord had made his way to the nation. The amount of his followers on American soil grew to alarming proportions. Finally war came to America on June 1998, when Voldemort’s top man in the states, Ravon Horntail launched a full scale attack on the American Burneu of Magic. For the second time in the school’s history, Grove closed as the school’s council believed it unsafe for their young students.

In the three months that the school was shut down, it became a hideaway for many who escaped from the fighting, and a place where aurors’ wounds were tended to. It was to be there where the final battle in America would take place. After many days and the deaths of many good aurors, Ravon was finally defeated and the Wizarding World was once again at peace. Grove reopened its doors to its students the following school year, full of promise and hope for the future.

Present Day

For the last three-hundred and fifteen years, Grove has stood the test of time. Surviving the wars and conflicts that had pledged Muggle and Wizarding history, Grove has shown the Wizarding world the seriousness it shows with educating the nation’s witches in the art of witchcraft. Now with the instillation of a new Hallaway, Elizabeth Hallaway, into the office of headmistress, only time will tell if the school and its years of tradition will survive into the new milineninum.

Well, we're in a lag right now, and I'm looking for a dedicated co-admin to help pull me out of it. I have everything put together, but I need somebody to help me with some basic things like events and planning, etc.

QUOTE

Now you will receive us.
We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
We do not want your tired and sick.
It is your corrupt we claim.
It is your evil that will be sought by us.
With every breath, we shall hunt them down.
Each day we will spill their blood, 'til it rains down from the skies.
Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior, and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
There are varying degrees of evil. We urge you lesser forms of filth, not to push the bounds and cross over, into true corruption, into our domain.
For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day you will reap it.
And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

Those were the words that were spoken at the trial of “Papa Joe” Yakavetta by three men known as “the saints”. Two brothers who believe they are on a mission from God to rid the world of evil, bringing flaming vengeance upon Boston’s corrupt. The McManus twins, Connor and Murphy, along with their father, revealed their existence to the world that day, making them among some of the most infamous men in history. A media frenzy whirled around them as FBI posters flocked every major city, it was no longer safe to be a Saint in Boston.

Justice is never as simple as many would like to believe, so was the lesson learned by Special Agent Paul Smecker. A highly accomplished member of the Organized Crime Task Force, he had been trailing the Saints for months, only to find out that they were the two Irish brothers he had let go in connection with the murder of three members of the Russian mob. Everything that he has ever wanted to do to the nation’s scum, these boys are doing. Torn in the dilemma of dilemmas, Smecker had to make the decision whether to apprehend the Saints, or join them. In the end following the brothers, Smecker smuggled them safely out of the United States and into Ireland, where they were to remain until it was safe to return.

But vacuums inevitably must be filled, and so they were, but in the city of New York. Three young men have taken up The McManus’s cause in their absence, making sure their message lives on. Although their means of salvation are far from those of the Saints. Bloody and heartless, bodies of the various members of the New York crime syndicates turning up all over the city mutilated almost beyond recognition, the index finger on their right hand sliced off. On each body is left a little note:

Relics from a Mytar taken
The blood of the wicked shed
The Evil are being sent to their graves
And sweet Lady Justice shall rejoice.

--Yours Truly—
The Saints

Law enforcement officials haven’t been able to make head nor heel of these murders. Lacking the trademarks of the Boston murders, these copycat homicides have set the city on it’s heels, especially the underworld of New York. The Italian crime families, in an act of self-preservation have banded together under the leadership of Don Vincenzo Moretti, a man so revered by so many in the Italian mafia that not a single Family has ever waged war against him.  Putting aside any differences and judgments, all power has been handed over to this one man who now has one goal now in mind: to get rid of the Saints before they bring about the demise of all that everyone has worked so hard to achieve.

Likewise, the Russians have been joining under a common banner, that of Vladimir Petrova, a man who is known for being probably the most ruthless man in the entire city. A bloodlust runs through this man like many couldn’t believe, and it is he who the Russian crime syndicates believe will send the Saints to their holy graves. Bringing together his forces, Vladimir has set off his war with the Moretti crime family until the problem of the saints is resolved, creating a brief calm in the city of New York before the storm.

Back in Ireland, though, news has reached the McManus brothers of the copycat murders that have been taking place under their name. Against everything they had been told, Connor, Murphy, and their father retuned to the United States to complete their mission.  Two sets of saints now roam the city, both with the intent of bringing down the corrupt, but each with a price on their heads. With every major crime group in New York along with the police looking for them, the question is not how far the McManus brothers must go;question is do they possess the constitution, the depth of faith to go as far as needed?

Working on an original pirate rpg, and below is what I was thinking of for the first chapter of the story, but it could use more work. The forum is up and what not, and I have completed most of it already. But I'll need help with some more of the site. If you're interested message me.

Times are Changing...
»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

The days of piracy spread along every sea have finally come to an end. Emperors, Lords, Kings, and Senates have once again regained control of there territories. And for a time life would seem quite near perfect, if it had not been for one thing, Pirates.

They continue to plague the sea and any place that can be reached by it. As of late there is one place to find a gathering of Pirates, one place that can not be found, but if you are a Pirate, and one place that can not be entered, but if you are a Pirate. It is called the “Nest of the Pirates”, or rather it is what countries, civilians, and their Navy’s believe it is called.

Its location has yet to be known, but that is of little significance as the countries continue to expand westward. As they have nearly conquered the entire land of mass to the east. To the south west is a placed named the Catego Sea, a place that is meetings point or a connection to the ever so large Western Continent?

Here lies a chain of islands, individually governed by men and had lay uninterrupted until the arrival of both Kooluk and Gaean forces. To the southern largest continent lied the Kooluk rising upward to attain the islands and increase its Empire outward the Western Continent and to the East of the islands another continent under the People’s Republic of Gaea. They try to extend their Senate to the West, and the long journey can only be succeeded by attaining a partnership and base among all the islands.

After the recent decline in Piracy, the men and women who had naturally become Pirates were forced to remain in the reaches of the Catego Sea, but it seems the people who deprived them of their previous endeavors among 4 of the five known seas have returned to claim more of their home. Thus as of late, the Pirates have been forced to revert back to the Nest of the Pirate’s even more son then usual, and strategizing what to do.

But among the people with problems is a Kingship among the islands in the Catego Sea. It is the only unified lordship among them, and it is the largest island of them all. It is known as the Kingdom of Obel. The people here do not wish to give up to the hands of neither the Kooluk Empire nor the Gaean Republic. It plans to unify the Islands into one group of Island Nations to protect themselves from the violent Kooluk and the tricky Democracy of Gaea. But they lack the man power and naval power to face one let alone both of the Countries.

Now as for the role of the Pirates, it seems they to want to set their sails and colors high, as to face off against the powers that refuse them there freedom. Unfortunately as they have dropped in number, they too are in need of assistance and recruitment. The Pirates have once again been a gathering and over time their numbers have been rising once again as a final showdown might just be taking place.

The fate of the sea lies in the hands of the Pirates, as they search for a way to defeat the powers coming to once again claim the Ocean as their's. As of late they have figured out only one way to achieve this power, and it's by obtaining the co-operation of the fiercest Pirates in all of the sea. The Pirate Lords.

Necrorose - July 17, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
It is the year 1593 and there is trouble in Darkstrome. The tamed beast of the war between the species is beginning to stir again. For Centuries the Vampires, Werewolves, Elves and Humans have lived with a disdain for each other. There have been times when it has been out and out war on each other, and times like the present where things seem a little more mellow. The hatred is still there though and is threatening to come out of its shell once more.

For the past few years the understanding and agreement between the species has been getting breached at increasing intervals, killings, kidnappings and other such things and each species is all too quick to blame each other. People are getting agitated and are wanting answers to the violent acts occurring. It seems as if there is no hope to unite the species and bring peace to their world in Darkstrome.

Or is there hope? A few Centuries a prophecy was made that a twice blessed child would be the key to unlocking peace between the species. It was laughed off as absurd as no 2 species would ever stand each other long enough to even think about coming together. Whenever there has been love between species they are cast out and often killed through disgust. Could it ever be possible to find two people strong enough to overcome these differences? Will there be people in the community willing to try and get along? Will anyone rise up and bring down anyone who tries to befriend the other species? Will you fight for peace between all people or fight for the honor of your kind?

It’s time topick a side...

We are in need of many admin and mods...check us out..You would be welcomed here with open topics..(sorry I am a bit crazy)

Hokies:

Elmo: You plot sounds awesome, but it's a little too dark for me, and not exactly my roleplaying style. Thanks though.

Sasori: I'm not really into the pirates thing unless it's a post POTC3 era type thing, and even then I'm a little hesitant. Again, I think your beginning is really good though, good luck with it.

Necrorose: I am going to apply as soon as I get a name for my character, and we can discuss what you would want me to admin. :)

Minister: Sighned up and PMed you.

THAT'S ALL MY LOVIES!!! THANKS FOR LOOKING AND REPLYING!!!
