THE STORY OF DUARD COURTS - - -

    "Get it done by tonight."

"Okay," Duard muttered respectfully, "I'll think of something."

"Good. I knew you'd do it, son. My dream come true."

Duard turned and strutted out of the hospital room with many problems buzzing in his mind. His father was soon to die, and everyone knew that. Duard's father wanted him to become the new ruler of Duard Courts, hence the same name, not his other son, Adornis. Duard was going to take care of that very soon whether he liked it or not.

    The Next Night

"Did you have it taken care of?" His father croaked and coughed.

    "Yes."

"I hope you cleaned up well."

Duard's father closed his eyes, and that was it. He was stone cold and dead. Duard was the new ruler. At least, that's what he expected since he was the only heir left in the Edward name.

    He was wrong.

Evidence was found that Duard Edward had killed Adornis very soon. The boy hadn't cleaned up well. Word of who would become the ruler was spreading fast. Duard was sent to prison for life and the FBI was looking into any other possible heirs that could have been alive. The local citizens only knew of Duard and Adoris.

    Who could be king?

    Then they found Gillen.

A lost son Duard's father had thought he had disposed of. He was wrong. The Hambridges rescued the boy after finding him floating injured in a river. They doctored his wounds and raised him as their own.

A knock was heard on the door.

    "He-hello," Gillen's foster mother stammered.

"Hello Mrs. Hambridge. Is Gillen Edward present? We need to see him immediately."

"Uh, yes," She turned and motioned for Gillen to come to the door. "This is him. My I ask what is wrong?"

The FBI agent grabbed Gillen by the shoulder and threw him into his car. Mrs. Hambridge wailed and screamed. Her only boy had been taken right from her arms.

    The Next Day

"So, Mr. Edward. Do you know why your here?" The president of the FBI asked.

    "Erm. No. I don't."

"Your the new king. The King of Duard Courts."

    Gillen laughed. "No I'm not."

The FBI worker kept a straight face. "Yes, you are. You will take the throne immediately."

With that, on August first, three thousand and five, Gillen Edward was declared king. The citizens were not believing this odd story, but took it well. Gillen just needed some practice with running a country. He'd adapt fast. He was a fast learner.

Founded by Annabelle Hallaway on the first of October, 1692, Grove Academy is the oldest witching school in the United States. Focusing solely on the instruction of young women and the development of their witchcraft, Grove Academy has owned up to its title as one of the most prestigious witch’s academy in the US, having educated some of the world’s most famous and prominent witches.

For the last three hundred and thirteen years, Grove has withstood the test of time. Surviving many wars and conflicts that had made its way into both Muggle and Wizarding history, Grove Academy has shown the Wizarding world just how serious it is in educating not just the nation’s, but the world’s, witches in the art of witchcraft.

Now, many generations later, Grove Academy is still going as strong as ever, with Elizabeth Hallaway in the position of Headmistress. But that doesn’t mean that things haven’t gotten easier for the school – only time will tell if it and its years of tradition will survive into the new millennium.

Come and see for yourself…
