Ok I made an RPG about what happened to those who have disppeared in the Bermuda Triangle, where they ended up and how is their life etc.
There is also the side of those who survived from the Triangle of course. Some of the survivals went insane and stuff...

so, was Bermuda Triangle RP original or not? Just curious.

not cliche, nor is it original.

I'm sure it's been done before, somewhere somehow... so it's not completely original. Very few things are. But it's not something that's constantly listed in the directory, thus making it in a way unique.

The Bermuda triangle fascinates me on so many levels..

I'd say it's pretty original. I've never actually seen any of them, but I'm sure it's been done before, so it's not completely original.

It's not unique, but it's pretty original. I say go for it; we need a break from the teen-based RPs. (No offense to anyone who loves the high school genre, but there are so many of them!)

I think everything has been done before and as long as you breath a little of your own creativity and twists into it there is no need to get hung up how many people have done it before you. It's an interesting idea and (I at least) haven't seen anything like this in a while.

I would worry less about originality and more about creativity. What I've noticed is that a lot of people get messed up when they talk about originality over the internet. It doesn't matter that you're original or not. What matters is that your RP manages to be so creative and out of the box that it is something that someone would take a second look at.

With that said, I voted not cliche, but not original.

This seems pretty original to me. I don't think I've ever seen an RPG about the Bermuda Triangle... don't think I'd be aversed to joining, either...

It'd make for an interesting idea, but would have to have a good story to base it on and also an interesting event to play against. If it's a rip off from lost... well, just make it a lost RPG.
