Title: When?

white_gurl - June 20, 2007 01:53 AM (GMT)
How many times a day are the rpg submissions looked at? Our forum is trying to gain a lot of active members.

Good question...

white_gurl - June 20, 2007 02:48 AM (GMT)
Thanks. Because yeah our forum is like old but its kinda dead and we need some members

In what way do you mean looked over? By members, by staff?

white_gurl - June 20, 2007 01:49 PM (GMT)
By Staff so it can be sorted

By staff, it really depends who is on and available to do some work. Because I have had a lot of school stuff to do right now, I haven't been able to keep up with the directory. ShinLi took over for me for a little while and recruited some comm staff to help her, but it's in addition to their other jobs. Once I get everything squared away though, the ads should be sorted sooner. On a side note though, a lot of our members check the submissions just as much as they do the actual directories, so it will be seen.

Some check them even more then when they are sorted into the directories. So it might not even be bad sorting takes a tad longer at the moment. You don't have to worry about topic views.

It also occurred to me that the directories have a lot of inactive/dead RPG's :o. Will that be sorted out as well? Or more like, how often do you sort it out?

ShinLi - June 22, 2007 06:33 PM (GMT)
If you look around carefully, you see we have implemented a directory checking system, we currently have two checkers who check through the directories. There's a pinned topic explaining everything how the checking works. All directory submissions will have a post icon, ranging from green to black, who state in what activity status it's currently is. You must understand we cannot simply trash something just because it's inactive or offline, admins could be working on starting it up again.

But you must understand, we are just coming out an exam period, our staff members have had exams too. But we are working on everything to get it back on track. Please be patient.

Ah yes, I completely understand. There's no rush, really :p. We have all summer to get things back up and running, yeah?
