Title: Movies Your Excited About Coming Out This Year
Theresa Crane - June 15, 2007 03:10 AM (GMT)
I'm a huge movie buff so I love talking about them as well.
I'm really excited about Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix, Transformers, The Bourne Ultimatum & The Golden Compass
(oh and next years Dark Knight movie and Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian!)
Kirz - June 15, 2007 11:06 AM (GMT)
I'm a movie buff too! *offers chocolate*
I'm really excited about Order of the Phoenix too, yet at the same time utterly terrified of the butchering of canon that's going to happen. Have you seen James' hair?! *weeps*
Also really excited about The Bourne Ultimatum and The Invisible, which I hope is coming out this year, but no word yet. Oh, and Driving Lessons. Come on Australia, when are we going to get word of it?
Oh yeah! I'm really looking forward to Grind House; I love Robert Rodriguez with a passion. :p
Other than that, I'm not entirely sure what movies are coming out this year, though I can't wait for Pan's Labyrinth and Loving Annabelle to come out on DVD; the former because I didn't get to see it in the cinemas and the latter because it didn't even come out in the cinemas here and I doubt it will. -_-

Movie buff three!^^
I'm very excited for Golden Compass and Order of the Phoenix as well. (too lazy to italize them). They look fabulousssss.
And really that's the extent of it. Pirates all ready came out. Though the boyfriend will of course be dragging my sorry bum to see Transformers and the likes as well. T.T

I just found out yesterday that they're making a second movie version of Richard Matheson amazing post apocalyptic novel, 'I am Legend'. I was really excited until I saw the preview. The original version (Last Man on Earth) starred Vincent Price. This one puts Will Smith in the leading role and pretty much looks like some cheep Hollywood knockoff. I'm probably still going to drag myself out to see it. (x.x)
Other then that I'm totally looking forward to The Dark Knight. And, thanks to Theresa Crane, Prince Caspian ( I had no idea they were working on a new Narnia movie x3 ).
ShinLi - June 16, 2007 09:50 PM (GMT)
Shrek The Third!!!!
And Harry Potter of course. Futher I'm not really up to date about movies coming to cinema. And I don't really care either, I'll just see. Sometimes I hear about an intersting movie. But mostly I wait for the movie to come out on DVD.

I'm a bit of a horror junkie. I wanted to see Captivity when it came out but its an 18 and unfortunatly I am only 16! The Hitcher looks good though. And Vacancy. I also really wanna see POTC 3 again because it was a good fun film (even though it was too long)
Solid_Snake13 - June 19, 2007 12:21 AM (GMT)
At this moment I am absolutely crazy for Hairspray's movie adaption!!!

...Nothing at the minute.
I love the Harry Potter books but I don't feel the movies do them justice. It's kind of sad that I have nothing I really wanna see.
I love movies but I prefer older ones.
I'm going to America soon, in like a week and I'm planning on getting all the movies that I can't get over here (England). I want Dogfight and I want A Night in the life of Jimmy Reardon, under a dif name now though.

oh I defo wanna see The Bourne Ultimatum :D I did not see it coming that they would make a 3rd part to the whole Bourne thingo! ^_^ nice to see Matt Damon kicking some serious butt again.
Though I'm still a bit bitter about killing off his girlfriend...
Theresa Crane - June 23, 2007 10:35 PM (GMT)
oh hell yes 1408 looks awesome! I forgot about vacancy too *puts in queue for blockbuster) i agree i was so mad they killed of her off in bourne supremecy but i understand why they did it. still don't like it though oh well.

HARRY POTTER!!!! Only two more weeks!!!
I would be excited about Pan's Labyrinth and Driving Lessons but I already have them.
HARRY POTTER!! Does any one know when tickets come on sale??
simply_t_babii - June 25, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
I want to go see the Order of the Phoenix. Like I LOVED the last one so I hope the next is good.
I want to go see Hairspray. I LOVED the first one
So those are pretty much the only ones besides American Gangsta with Denzel Washington and T.I.
Metallicar - June 27, 2007 05:38 AM (GMT)
I'm a huge! moviebuff considering I'm a film studies major I probably should be right?
But the only movie I'm really gunning to see is Transformers.
I saw POTC3, I saw F4, I saw Spiderman... but they were ALL boring to me. It's really sad. It's like all the good movies that used to be just don't occur any more.
SilentGhost - June 27, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
I dunno, movies that came out this year were a bit...crappy. Spide-rman 3 felt like it was put together in 10 minutes. Really, I'd like to see Transformers, but then, I might want to avoid it because if it sucks, then I'm going to lose a piece of my childhood forever....
Of course, I know the second Die Hard movie is just going to own. =D
dolfriends - July 1, 2007 04:15 AM (GMT)
I'm ready to see the next Harry Potter movie. I've also been waiting for something else, but I'm having trouble remembering it - it was a drama, I think? Coming out in a few days. Ah, well.
Spiderman 3 didn't seem to live up the hype, and neither did Fantastic Four. I guess we'll just have to sit back and see what the movie industry has in store for us for the rest of the year.
Kirz - July 3, 2007 06:29 AM (GMT)
Only four days until I see Order of the Phoenix!! My friend got a double pass to the first screening in Adelaide, so we're going on Sunday. I'm nervous about it cos the movies are nowhere near as good as the books, but I'm looking forward to seeing Luna and any Harry/Draco moments (though there will likely be few :().
I'm looking forward to seeing Knocked Up (can anyone get more beautiful? x.x), Vacancy, and Black Sheep now. :D
Toniee-Maii - July 3, 2007 10:33 AM (GMT)
TRANSFORMERS Lmao. I'm such a geek; can't wait for this it looks sooooo goooooodddd. :D
retard.kid - July 3, 2007 01:59 PM (GMT)
Harry Pothead and Transformers
Morrigan - July 7, 2007 09:28 PM (GMT)
Though some have already come out:
Live Free or Die Hard (Gotta love Bruce Willis and action. We own the trilogy)
Transformers (Was a transformers fan since I was a kid. House full of brothers. >_< Don't ask)
Pirates of the Caribbean (I've been anticipating it since like 2000 so of course I was stoked for it's release.)
Harry Potter (Gotta Love HP and all of his adventures. OOtP is one of my fave books so far.)
License to Wed (I love Robin Williams, Nuff said)
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (Gotta Love Adam Sandler and Kevin James, together I think this movie will be hilarious)
Evan Almighty (Though I don't like the fact that it's similar to Bruce Almighty as that was a super GOOD movie, I do love the actors and it looks downright hilarious.)
1408 (Possibly a really good Horror flick! Love the actor as well)
Knocked Up (Can't help but laugh when I see the trailer)
Ocean's Thirteen (I loved the first two and this one has Al Pacino!!!!!)
The Bourne Ultimatum (Once again, love the first two, love the actor, can't wait to see what they do.)
Balls of Fury (Justs looks funny. Ping Pong and the FBI, what can you say, not a perfect match)
Added: Underdog Looks sweet and I love UNDERDOG!!!!!
Those are a lot that I'm excited for, I'm sure I've missed a million or whatever but these are ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Ellia - July 13, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
Well, Harry Potter 5, which is already out (gah!) but I'm not seeing it till tomorrow (GAH again!)
Evan Almighty looks like it could be fun.
Oh, and Hairspray, which looks like utter cheese which is always good XD

^ I cannot wait for HAIRPSRAY! LOL.
I'm such a Hairspray nerd, hahaha, it's sort of sickening!
I'm going to go see it on opening night (hopefully). <3 I'm sort of wary about how it'll be, though, or how much has been changed to fit the big screen... or to satisfy John Travolta. -rolls eyes- But I'm really excited to see Amanda Bynes; she's the perfect Penny, IMO.
fatsam33 - July 13, 2007 11:13 PM (GMT)
I can't wait till October when Saw 4 is released. Its such an amazing movie franchise and I can't wait to see what twists are included in this film! (happy)
