Title: Hero Or Villain
Jay Serge - May 11, 2007 03:31 PM (GMT)
If you had super powers what would you be? A Hero or a villain or a mixture of both?
I'd be a bit of both myself, if some one needed saving I might give them a hand you know but I would use my powers to get myself wealth as well though.
OnlyHappyWhenItRains - May 11, 2007 03:44 PM (GMT)
I kinda wish I would be a villain.
Just because I've always wanted to be kickass like that.
Unfortunately however, I'm a big old softie and I'd have to use my powers for good. Snap.
Frosty - May 11, 2007 04:26 PM (GMT)
Mix - I'd be like Venom (only a little less psychotic maybe?), a hero to some and a villain to others. Just depends on your point of view ;)
missmossxx - May 11, 2007 04:34 PM (GMT)
Meh.. maybe a hero, and maybe a mix.
I'm too wimpy to be a villain ;)
But I probably would use my powers for personal gain..
RomanHk - May 11, 2007 05:00 PM (GMT)
I'd have to go with mixed too. I'm no selfless idiot but I do have a soft spot ... and a mean streak.
missmossxx - May 11, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
I suppose everyone is a mix really, the whole grey area thing, nothing being black and white.
Some just lean more to one than the other.
xx
Lenore - May 11, 2007 11:36 PM (GMT)
I'd probably be an anti-hero - they are all for good and peace and such, but just don't go about saving the world like all the other do-gooders. They break rules and are baaaad, but still goood at the same time ^__^
Lothlómendil - May 12, 2007 01:54 AM (GMT)
I'm watching Spiderman right now - I know for sure I'd be a hero!
ShinLi - May 12, 2007 11:09 AM (GMT)
Hero defiantly. I'm to good to be a badass, even it I tried XD. Raised with good morals and all *nods*. Defiantly a Hero, I like helping out people.
Temperance - May 12, 2007 04:26 PM (GMT)
probably mixed....leanin' slightly towards evil XD
Angel of Music - May 13, 2007 03:01 AM (GMT)
Mix. For one good only and evil only suck, but a mix is so kewl. For one, it is like leaidng a doule life! (blush) (x.x)
aronagale - May 30, 2007 07:02 AM (GMT)
At the end of the day, the Anti-Hero is just the most interesting to play. Not only to you get to act like a total nutcase and/or jerk, but you eventually get to do something noble. It's fun to be someone completely different from your own self, I suppose... maybe that's why it's appealing to me.
Everlasting Melody - June 2, 2007 06:34 PM (GMT)
hahah I would have to go with hero for sure. I'm not good at being bad if I was a villain I would get caught within like 20 seconds XD
Phoenix Lament - June 3, 2007 02:43 AM (GMT)
Villllllain. Psht. Why would you want to be a hero? XD
But, eh, I'm too cowardly either way so... -shrug-
NascarRenee - June 5, 2007 04:20 PM (GMT)
I actually like doing both so when I'm in a good mood, I can have fun with my hero and when I'm cranky, my villain shall wreak havoc everywhere. >>
Raven123 - June 9, 2007 01:37 AM (GMT)
dracolover4ever - June 27, 2007 02:28 AM (GMT)
I would be a villian. Only because they have more freedom and less rules. They don't care about what others think and thats just like me.
ombrel - July 15, 2007 06:09 PM (GMT)
Its too easy to be a hero... I like my challenges so villian all the way! *plus they are hotter :p*
Mousie - July 15, 2007 06:23 PM (GMT)
Villains definitely have more fun.
But you wouldn't catch me monologuing! Nooo... I don't want to get caught!
Triple J - July 16, 2007 10:18 PM (GMT)
I think like the poll shows, most will do the right thing, but still use their powers for their own personal gain. So that is why I choose a mix.
devastator_ - July 24, 2007 06:05 AM (GMT)
I'd be lying if I didn't say a bit of both, it'd just be too tempting to be self-serving and badass every now and then. Of course, help those in need and all that jazz...
Proto Stryker - July 24, 2007 07:24 AM (GMT)
I'd be the typical anime perverted guy that has a nifty skill. Use it for the highest forms of good and the more tempting side of evil. Flight has so many unseen uses. >=D
aquafina - July 28, 2007 02:14 PM (GMT)
I'd probably be a hero... or have heroic intentions and be perceived as a villain. That's just my luck, though. haha.
johndon - July 28, 2007 07:32 PM (GMT)
I would be a mean guy but be a hero...
kinda like mace windu...he is mean and stuff but still a good guy...
Panda - July 28, 2007 10:30 PM (GMT)
Villain through and through--no question about that. Give me super powers and I'd be all over world domination like a rash.
: )
vision_afar - July 28, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
Having roleplayed and gotten into heads of heroes, anti-heroes and super villains, I'd go with being an anti-hero. Fighting for good but realizing sometimes you also have to fight fire with fire. As the real world normally works, sadly.
Cecile - August 14, 2007 04:38 PM (GMT)
I love villains in movies and series, and I love RPG'ing villains too... they're the best and most interesting, I'm not much into real "heroes"... :)
lise.anne - August 14, 2007 07:27 PM (GMT)
Totally a villain!
I  Voldy!
hl0890 - August 14, 2007 08:41 PM (GMT)
I usually prefer the villains over heroes because if you think about it, the villains have got style and power, while all heroes have are cheesy lines and predictable actions. However, as much as I love villains, I love the ones who hang on by the boundary more. I mean, take a look at Spike from the Buffy series, who is my favorite character out of the show, he always has that mysterious thing going on with him. While he tends to help the slayer, he still has that dark wanderer style that makes him totally unpredictable at times. I think mixed characters like Spike is also more dangerous than both the villains and the heroes.
bailey_blue - August 15, 2007 10:14 PM (GMT)
Villains have way more style and in the real world they would win sometimes as well.
Therefore, villains all the way!

I definitely agree. Characters that have the opportunity to go either way, or who have unreadable agendas, are my favorite. Spike is the perfect example; he's hard to classify as a "hero" or "villain."
Buuut, I think I would rather be a hero, lmao. I wouldn't want to have so many issues that I would have problems choosing where my loyalties lie. Plus, some heroes are pretty damn cool. Look at the Thundercats. ... lol.
Lusus Naturae - September 5, 2007 01:36 PM (GMT)
I think I'd be more of an anti-hero than anything else. Sure, I'd be after the villains and all that good stuff, but I'd go up against the good guys, too, if they had anything to say about it. I'd be more the type for temporary alliances with the heroes due to a common enemy than actually joining forces permanently, but I'd be sure not to let the villain get off easy. Winner takes all, right?
lemondrops - December 22, 2007 03:30 AM (GMT)
I really enjoy being any of them, but my favorite is still the ice-cold jerk. It's just so much more fun!
sarahj - December 22, 2007 08:18 PM (GMT)
I'd definitely be good. I'd probably be annoying, actually.
In RL I'm considering becoming a nun, so I would most definitely be a hero ^.^
I prefer my characters to be villainous though, and do agree that they probably have more fun.
HoshigakiKisame - December 23, 2007 01:03 AM (GMT)
I think I'd be a mix. Sometimes I can be really useful and helpful but sometimes I feel a little evil.
.Ra - December 23, 2007 02:15 AM (GMT)
I think there is something to be said for being the bad guy, or girl, in the situation. You get to have all the flair and power without having a conscience to get in the way.
I love to play the bad guy… everyone always seems to gravitate to them.
