Title: In Need Of A Home.

the.angel.mercy - May 6, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)

Your Name:

Emily Sophia.

Your Age:

17.

Offered Position:
  • Co-Admin
  • Global Mod
  • Application Admin (I'm really good at this. I take care and really read over people's applications)
  • Writer (ie. plot writer, canon list writer, etc. as writing is my specialty.
  • Graphic Admin (I make graphics using my PSPxi. I am actually quite good, and getting better by the day)

Experience:

I've been role-playing for about a year and a half now. I started out on HSRP and have since expanded to many different role-play sites and other boards. I have taught myself the Admin-CP and am quite skilled at using it. I have been an admin of several boards. I know the Global Mod CP well. I am not as skilled at it as I am with the Admin CP, but I can put two and two together and figure it out more. I have been writing since I was a young child so I can say that my writing skills are very good. I am capable of two-three paragraphs a post and writing some detailed plots/canon lists/etc. I recently discovered graphic making and have learned a lot and become quite good at making signatures and avatars. I have only been making graphics for about 5 months but I am very good.

Custom Notes Basically I'm desperate for a job and if you give me the information and a link I will check out your site. Chances are I'll join and start to fulfill my duties. I am a bit picky as to what sites I am a staff member or role-player on. I dislike Proboards, so please none from there. Also, while I love the books and moves, I detest Harry Potter role-plays. So none from their either. So other than that I'm up for anything. Even other boards. I wouldn't mind working on an other board (graphics, writing, etc) either. Also I'm open to more than one job.

aim will give out upon acceptance of job.

msn will give out upon acceptance of job.

We're still in the 'planning' stages, but we might be what you're looking for. We need mods and admins.

The Angela MacGrady School for the Arts (AMSA) and the Nicholas Mueller Riding Academy (NMRA) are both located in the small town of Everett, New York. In fact, the two schools are the only thing in Everett. The town is located an hour from New York City, on the New York/New Jersey border. You could say it’s the middle of nowhere.

Angela MacGrady and Nicholas Muller were married in 1945, both of them a tender 18 years of age. Both having grown up in the farming town of Everett, they were high school sweethearts. Angela pursued a career in the music industry while Nicholas followed a dream of riding on the United States Olympic Equestrian Team. Nicholas made it, Angela did not.

As a result, Angela resented her husband, thus rocking their already shaky marriage. In 1952, Angela and Nicholas divorced. Angela returned to her home in Everett and founded AMSA, which officially opened its doors in 1955. Nicholas was still working on his riding career. It was only when he returned to Everett in 1965, at the age of 38 that he found his ex wife running a prestigious arts boarding school. Enraged, Nicholas bought the land in Everett not belonging to AMSA and founded NMRA, which opened in 1966.

The only people who live in Everett, New York are the students and staff of the two rivaling schools. The two properties meet at Everett Park. Everett Park is the center of hostility between the two schools. The hatred between Angela and Nicholas is carried on through stories at both schools, sparking a rivalry that has spanned the years.

Welcome to the year 2007. The rivalry is alive and well, as are the two who sparked it. Nicholas and Angela are 80 this year, and their grandchildren are students at their respective academies. You know parents thrust their dreams on their kids—but what about grandparents?

The students all have one thing in common: they're chasing something. NMRA students want that blue ribbon, that Grand Champion ribbon. They want on the Olympic team. AMSA want to hit the high note, write one great song, or create their masterpiece.

Welcome to Everett, New York, where we're walking on [BROKEN] glass.

I'm in the very first stages of my first board (graphics needed) and am looking for some people to help me set up the board's image (sidebar, uploading/choosing various graphics). The genre that the forum is focused on is sci-fi war-ish. I'm not sure if that's what you're interested in, but I thought that would be important to mention before anything else. It's based off the once-planned-computer-game Twilight War.

This is the forum right now, though it isn't much to look at without the graphics and all. Note that nothing there is permanent and all just speculation. Co-admins are also needed.

Thanks,
Squire.

We're still in the 'planning' stages. I just created the board yesterday, and I'm touching it up right now. If you wish to become staff, any staff you want, private message me and I will send you the link. Here is the plot:

QUOTE
Dear Sir or Madam,

It is our greatest pleasure to inform you that your child’s request for enrollment at Mystikos has been modestly accepted. Mystikos is a magnificent and superb camp, set in the tropics of Nassau, Bahamas. Children are paired up with a partner who will be with them throughout the whole summer experience. There are various activities to be enjoyed, varying from land sports to the arts. In total, there are over forty activities to take pleasure in over the course of eight weeks.

Meals have been checked over by the finest and most intellectual nutritionists of our time and are guaranteed to meet your child’s health standards. Homesickness is not a problem, for your child will surely be too busy with making new friends and enjoying all of the pleasurable activities to feel homesick. The camp schedule has been reviewed by all five staff members and has been formatted to fit your child’s desirable principles. The weekends will be spent doing traditional activities such as camping out and telling scary stories while munching on scrumptious marshmallows.

Mystikos has two professional and well-known doctors at both of the sections of the camp, and a hospital is not that far away. You should be safe knowing that your child will be nurtured in a safe environment with much for them to do. Your child shall depart on the 12th of June and will be back in your arms eight weeks afterwards. Teachers and/or camp directors will be ready to pick your child up in your desired location.

Sincerely,
The Staff of Mystikos

Welcome to Mystikos, a camp for teenagers set in the warm tropics of Nassau, Bahamas. At first Mystikos might seem like any ordinary camp, and the parents think so as well. But what both the parents and the kids don’t know is that Mystikos is actually a well-equipped spy camp, instructing the next generation of teenagers from all around the world on how to wield knives and pistols, how to drive helicopters and other vehicles, how to survive dangerous situations, and anything else an ordinary teenager needs to know to be able to endure the spy world. Teenagers get sent on missions, equipped with the latest spy equipment that is only known in secrecy, as well. But who is leading this camp – this teenager spy agency? Why of course, thirty-seven year old Kerri Smith, who is also one of the most well-known and respected spies.

“Now, I shall welcome you to Mystikos… but, there is still one expectation that is expected of every spy – no matter if that spy is a beginner or an expert. If you shall become a spy, you shall always endure the secrecy that is set upon your shoulders. After all… once a spy –”

Hey there. I am currently working on a unique RP, set in modern earth, but with quite a fantasy twist. Check out the link in my signature for all the information, including a link. I need graphics in a desperate way, along with plot developers.

Ah! You'd be perfect for The World of Graphics. It's a fusion of an RPG and graphics making site. It's not open yet so I can't give you the link, but here's the link to a more detailed description of the site and available positions.
