Is there a glossary of terms around here? I know I sounds stupid (never claimed I wasn't ;) ) but I don't know alot of these words I'm coming across. Hafflepuff? slytherin? so is there a place i can find deffinitions or could you guys explain every abreviation and all the 'slang' I find.. oh, like what's a cannon? I've heard it alot but dunno what it is? thanks ever so much!

Hufflepuff and Slytherin are two houses in Harry Potter, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor the other two.

Canon stands mostly for characters who come from books, movies, tv-series. For instance on a Harry Potter RPG, Harry himself would be a canon character, while if you think one up it's an original character. There could also be canon characters on boards not based on movies, tv-shows or books. These are mostly pre-made characters for the plot/story of an RPG forum.

You can also go to google or wikipedia and type in the word you are confused about. I do this a lot and it makes me seem like a much smarter person than I really am.
