SCRT - May 4, 2007 10:39 PM (GMT)
This is my first poll... sorry if i did it wrong :p

RomanHk - May 4, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
I voted Drama because... long story. =P

MSE Admin - May 5, 2007 10:39 PM (GMT)
Drama is annoying, I have to deal with it enough in school. I could care less about short posts, as long as it gives me something to respond too x]

piperhalliwell - May 6, 2007 10:00 AM (GMT)
Oh No its small posts. Sorry but I rp with about 4 paragraphs minimum on average and there is nothing worse than people only using about 5 lines in responce. I cannot stand people who do that. Though god modding and mary sue is my pet peeve which you never included

*cries*

narrow minded people bug the heck outta me!!!! I mean, ARGH!

It's definately got to be the unrealistic plots. There's nothing more irritating then "WHAT??? That's not even possible. Or cool..."

Like on this one RPG I was on, this kid wanted to kill off his character and ended up doing it in a brutal decapitation with a sword (mind you, this is a harry potter rpg, so that in itself was quite ridiculous). THEN, like 3 months later, he decided he wanted the character back so applies for him saying that "he (the character) created a perfect duplicate of himself to put in place of himself (knowing that the guy who was after him was going to kill him by decapitation) and that the duplicate was killed, not himself."

This is me: "........" "..................... Hahahahahahahahahahahah"

Or people who's characters are Minister of Magic and Headmaster of Hogwarts and the most powerful wizard existence at age 20. Yup, that's realistic. /sarcasm

I just really really hate unrealistic plots and/or characters and/or plot-holes. It's the sign of someone who didn't take the time to make the plot valuable and meaningful, that they aren't a good writer (no matter style and diction - without a plot, you got nothing).

Everything but short posts is a pet peeve for me. lol, I was new once, I know it was. But experienced RPers who post short, don't have an excuse...lol

But man...narrow minded people...OOC drama...those two are definitely at the top of my list. Right alongside unimaginative people. God...why do you RP if you can't think of stuff on your own? lol, I thought the whole point was to be creative, not play so strict on rules people aren't allowed to be creativer. Geez...

Lothlómendil - July 12, 2007 01:54 AM (GMT)
OOC drama makes an admin's life suck.

ombrel - July 15, 2007 06:02 PM (GMT)

all of them ><

^^ lol.

me... drama, and unrealistic plots. They annoy me so bad..

aquafina - July 28, 2007 02:13 PM (GMT)
I voted 'ooc drama' and 'unrealistic plots/drama'... although selecting 'narrow-minded people' would have been better, because that encompasses the source of most of the problems. *shrug*

thrallofwriting - July 29, 2007 08:03 AM (GMT)
The really short posts, like you know the few liners.... I know I am doing it, but I mean in RPGs ..... 1-3 liners.... or even 2 words... I mean, seriously, can't you even write a freakin paragraph?

Dannio - August 2, 2007 01:34 PM (GMT)
Drama

pirate - August 9, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
I hate short replys because someone i know things a paragraph is and im not kidding 5 to 7 words. I also think small sentences lack alot of discription that should be there. You cant just have someone appear somewhere and thats it!

Clipsed - August 15, 2007 05:43 PM (GMT)
I try to do at least four paragraphs (a paragraph for me is usually 100 words or so) simply because I feel like I didn't to a good job if it's much less. While I don't, overall, have an issue with short posts (well, I hate one-liners, but two paragraphs, though iffy, is marginally tolerable), I hate getting a paragraph in response to my four. If I can put effort into a post, I feel that others should in their responses.

lack of talent/imagination & unrealistic plots/drama.
I'm all about quality over quantity; 500 words doesn't make a good post, after all. And lately I haven't even had the energy to write more than 4 paragraphs. But anyway!

When people lack talent/imagination, they're storylines end up being really fake and cliché. I hate it when people reply to my plot posts with the most run-of-the-mill history ever. And when plots are unrealistic or they create drama just for the sake of it, it gets really tedious to stick around. Drama makes RP fun, but it's so superficial at times, and I really like getting into psychological aspects of my character; if my RP partner is just focused on how long she can make her character cry, while I'm figuring out how it's going to affect my character in the long run, the RP suffers.

OOC drama's definitely at the top of my online list. It just makes everyone on the board's lives that much worse. You have your problems? Great! So do I! But the difference between the two of us is that I don't go pouring mine out to complete strangers over the internet and think that they care. Almost always it ends up getting blown out of proportion and somebody in the board -either a staff member or a member, depending on whose actually able to do it- has to calm the said person(s) down.

In real life...a little off-topic...but people who burp or pass gas in public in find it funny. Sorry...I was never into fart humor and personally I find it disgusting.
