Custom Notes
  • Activity:
I'm a very busy individual... So I'd prefer to help with a site thats just starting, or needs alot of help/work.
Once the site(s) I'm helping with begin to increase in population, and when the Owner(s) of the site don't require my help anymore, then I'll resign from my duties, and simply become a regular member.
This may seem a bit... Weird... But trust me, you'll get the help you wanted.
  • Experience Comments:
Overall, I'm really doing this just to gain experience in what I do, so that I can increase my skills with whatever I may be "hired" to do. I'm the type of girl that'll take any job, and see it done with proficiency and the maximum quality. Basically, no isn't an answer from this one.
  • I Prefer....
...Either Invisionfree, or Proboards.

... A site based on fantasy, anime or a strong plot.

....A brand new site to work on. I can definitely help with populated sites, but I don't think I would be able to offer much help.

....For the owner(s) of the site to acknowlege that I have a life. And that this life is really eating my schedule up. x_x

....Not to do Reality/Soap Opera based RPs

....To provide the maximum amount of quality to my interested employers.

Thanks again, if you have any questions regarding my services, Please don't hesitate to PM me!

I would like to see some examples of your PS work. I'm starting a soap opera site, and am in serious need of a graphics moderator. It is brand spanking new. If you want more information, PM me, if you are interested I will PM you the site. I hope you are and would love to work with you.

Mused_x - April 23, 2007 08:44 PM (GMT)
Oh? Great... Well, here are some sample of my work...

This isn't all I can do, they're just some random things I've done in the past.

>Click Here<

As for the plot... I'm not really that much into Reality/Soap Opera based plots.
But I'd be more than willing to help with the graphics.

I actually have a website which may be of interest to you. Whilst I don't quite know your preferred genre, I can explain that this website is a fantasy/myth based rpg, following original ideas with some links to other websites.

Website link: Fallen Shadows

Plot:
QUOTE
The blood of our forefathers weighs heavily upon our shoulders, the burden of their mistakes forcing us to live in a world so cruel and terrible that many have ended their lives to escape the unjustified torture and corruption of their leader. A world so dark and violent, a leader so corrupt and powerful, a place so cruel and insufferable that thousands pray to flee from the lands, to flee from the cold grasp of the leader that is Xion; his hands are like the chains of oppression, ruling many under his iron fist and murdering those that refuse to follow in his ideology.

This is to become the tenth year in which Xion has ruled these lands with such strength and power, refusing to stand from his podium and continuing to act without mercy nor care. Reports of murder and sabotage are frequent and few openly speak of their opposition to his rule yet there are thousands who think it. Xion stands to rule for a further ten years if he is not assassinated or pulled from his position of power but there are few who will oppose him, knowing of the power he possesses not only politically but magically.

These lands are filled with magicians and sorcerers who have done great deeds, their powers being common and having many uses within society. It was said in the Ancient Scrolls that no magic could ever be dark unless tainted with the blood of a magical being and yet to this day Xion’s power is of the darkest nature, his strength surpassing many and only a select few even hope to meet his standards in terms of power. It has been learnt that his power derived from what the Scrolls described and hundreds are searching the Scrolls in the hope of an answer as to how to stop him whilst the rest simply pray, hoping that the mass of their prayers shall be answered.

His followers are disguised and silent amongst society, taking their action in the dark of night and acting with subtlety and courage. They are feared and merciless, killing and torturing in the name of Xion himself. These followers have recently heard that a group is seeking to oppose Xion’s rule with a new leader, one who matches his power only in the Light Magic. The darkness of his rule is set to be fought upon these grounds; who shall win, for the fate of thousands rests upon the heads of so few.

'Tis quite interesting. I may join. What position would you be needing the most? I can really do anything.. Even if the position in question isn't mentioned in my application.

Sarce Livial - April 23, 2007 10:16 PM (GMT)
The position would include elements of administration, i.e. applications, plotting, however, this being said, it will also include the practices of moderation, i.e. thread reviews, thread closings. It will be a combination of the two, however, if you feel you would like to make any suggestions, or would like a more fixed position. You are welcome. I will not ask for graphics because I believe I have asked so much of you. It is your decision.

Oh come now, you didn't ask too much of me.
Graphics is more of "A Way Of Life" for me. To ask me for graphics, is simply to ask a child to eat candy. As for the position, it sounds most ineresting. I'll be sure to sign up once I find at least 2 Other employers.

Mused_x - April 23, 2007 10:42 PM (GMT)
@ Sarce Livial:

A question;
Would you prefer if I sign up with my character's name? Or my actual name?

Wow. You have quite a few responses. =D My new rpg just started about 3 days ago, so it needs some help. ^^ It's an elven roleplay, and proboards, so it fits all your requirements. Also, I have no problem with you becoming just a member whenever, as we're in need of those.

I have Graphic Manipulators positions, moderators, and co-admin, so if you want I can give you a detailed description of each job.

QUOTE

;;

Our life has been a difficult one. Filled with struggle and blood and everything in between. Should you wish to gain the knowledge of our past experiences, simply listen closely as I spin the tale.

;;

The elves were, as it was thought by the dwarves, brought to the land by Gűntera, in order to rule the world and for the elves to do his bidding.
We elves do not hold a religion, and so we are not particularly familiar with the dwarves' customs. I will tell you know more of this absurdity.

;;

After we elves were 'created', we ruled the land with our fierce beauty and superiority over all other races. When others were not awed by our appearances and attempted to harm us, we always prevailed. Fools continued onward in vain attempts to relinquish us from the land - all to no avail.

;;

Long ago, when we first spied dragons in our land, they were thought of as illiterate monsters - unintelligent savages. Our king sent a band of elves to rid our land of them.
They found the group of dragons deep in slumber, and showed no mercy. Every dragon and egg was slaughtered there, a day we now look upon with shame.
The elves returned, boasting of their macabre murders, and they all slept easily that night. On the open ground.
They had slaughtered the group of dragons; but many more remained. When they returned to find their brethren killed, they immediately sought revenge.
The dragons came to the elves' abode, and slaughtered hundreds.
Thus, the war between dragons and elves began.

;;

For years the attacks between the two races flourished, growing ever more violent over time. It seemed as though they would murder their entire races together, what with all the havoc they had reigned upon the world.

;;

One day, a small elven girl named Adrasteai found an abandoned dragon egg, and was excited to realize that the dragon inside was not crushed, but alive.
Being young as she was, she kept the egg to herself, hiding it from all of the elves. She hid it in the lush forest nearby her house when it emerged from the egg and began to grow.
When atlast her dragon, christened Amanatiya, was fully grown, and the two had successfully flown together, Adrasteai revealed their friendship.

;;

At first the elven people rebelled at the thought of Adrasteai befriending a monster, and shunned her from the land. Amanatiya and Adrasteai then flew to the realm of the dragons, and, together, arranged for a treaty with the dragons and elves.
The dragons reluctantly agreed to the idea of peace, but on one condition; the elves would never again treat them as monsters, but as the intelligent beings they were; and elves and dragons would share their land in equality, as allies.

;;

Dragon and rider flew back to the elves, and proposed the alliance. The King was unsure of agreeing, but finally obliged, and so it was done.
And so, the two were in peace.

;;

And it has been such for hundreds of years, but the tides are changing.
Elves who despise the dragons - though they are few and heavily exiled when caught - have been committing foul and violent crimes against their foes. The dragons have become ruffled, and fled to their main lands, leaving us without easy communication to the outside world.

;;

We refuse to leave our realm in order to send messages to our brethren on the other side of the earth, as it could reveal our land to unwelcome outsiders. The dilemma is clear. Our finest magicians are not with us at the time, except for a sparse few and myself, and so our food supplies are growing weak, and new houses are yet to be built. Our realm is falling into chaos.

;;

What is more, our King has recently passed away...
Our race is falling into monarchy - a new receiver to the title must be found, and, hopefully, our alliance with the dragons renewed.

;;

Or we shall all perish.

;;

Thank you!

I am seriously in need of a Graphic Designer. My board is not even off the ground yet, mostly because I want some graphics before I actually open it to the public.

You can find a small bit of the plotline, as well as a link to the unfinished board in my siggy. PM me for more questions, as the plotline can get very detailed.

I would love to have you aboard, so let me know.

Wow. You're really wanted. Huzzah, right? Well, anyways, I am Angie, and I am wishing to start up a fantasy/ninja role-play. It is not yet created, but I already have a staff member waiting for me to create the board. Here's the plot:

QUOTE

Ninjas. Five clans. One gigantic battle.

In the long-forgotten feudal era of Japan, many things were not as they seemed. Ninja – for example – were not only trained fighters that used skill and stealth to their advantage, but also the masters of the four elements. Though the human eye did not easily see it, each battle between the ninja contained various attacks of all four elements. Only few ninja possessed the skill to summon – yet control – one or sometimes – if lucky – two of the elements, so before most knew it the purpose to create clans arose.

In the end, a clan for each element was formed. The element of earth belonged to the Leaffai Village, the residents of that clan being strong-willed and focused, their strength, courage, and determination never withering away. The element of wind belonged to the Mist Village, the residents of that clan being sly and highly intelligent in most matters, always thinking twice through every action and move.  The Flame Village was burdened with the element of fire, and though the residents of this clan were hot-tempered, exceedingly passionate, and did not think most things through, they were still the strongest of all four clans. Last but not least, the element of water was brought upon the shoulders of The Raindrop Village, and the residents of this clan were usually extremely shy, though most of the times a plan of exceeded knowledge would be forming in their minds.

There was a fifth clan at one point in time, as well, but it sadly got destroyed in the fifth major battle of the ninja, which unknowingly almost destroyed hath of the world as we know it. This clan was a legendary clan – a clan that was called Hokage, and for a great reason, too. The Hokage clan was the strongest of all the clans; all ninjas in this clan being sly, intelligent, and highly powerful. They could not only control one element, but all, and each member of the Hokage usually became a leader or a highly respected person among the ninja. The other ninja clans, however, saw the Hokage clan as a threat and banded together to diminish and finally defeat them.

Some hundred years later after the fifth clan’s destruction, everything appeared to be peaceful among the ninja. Apparently, after the destruction, the ninjas of each clan had to band together and defeat their greatest enemy – an emperor with the desire to eliminate all ninja so that he could gain control over the world. They did defeat him, but at a great price. The ninja hated to admit it, but they were helpless against the emperor without the power of the Hokage. So, they called upon the spirits of this ancient clan to help them out, not knowing the abilities that the Hokage obtained and the anger they had gained after being endlessly slaughtered.

Through helping the other clans win against their greatest enemy, the Hokage made a pact. They would deliver one child – only one – to restart the Hokage clan, and the other clans would not interfere, for any reason whatsoever. As the child was descended upon Earth, the Hokage clan slowly began to rise again. Though now there were few of the Hokage clan, and most of the remaining ninja of this clan had to stay hidden. The first Hokage child had long died, as well. This meant that the pact between the Hokage and the other clans was complete, and the other clans had no reason not to interfere any longer.

And so, the long-awaited battle to see who is most powerful of all will arise among the ninja, and some will band together, while others will separate themselves and turn into monsters with a desire only to kill. Which side will you choose?

I don't know if you like stuff set in the past or ninja stuff, but, hey, it's worth a try. If you're not willing to be a staff member, than can you at least tell me what you think of the plot? Please and thank you! (Also, I'm most likely wanting you as a Moderator/Graphics Maker, or either or both. Alrighty? Alrighty!
