Title: Exp+graphics = Goodness

..Fallen.. - April 22, 2007 01:20 AM (GMT)

Your Name:
Fallen

Your Age:
16

Offered Position:
any. preferably co-admin.

Experience:
4 years of RPing
3 years of admining/modding
1 year of graphics making.

Custom Notes
Though I can make graphics, it's not recommended that those looking for a pure graphics maker reply. XD I can't do banners.. To put it lightly. Also, I'm on pretty much 24/7, so you don't have to worry about activity. I also enjoy writing plots (main and sub), as well as creating canons. I'm also a compulsive advertiser.

Honestly? I prefer proboards to invisionfree, and I have more experience on proboards. Still, invisionfree is pretty nice too ^^

I can do most canon sites, including X-Men, Harry Potter, and tv shows (minus house)
I'm not that big a fan of vampires and werewolves. Supernatural is an exception :p
Also, I've never been on a fantasy site. Still, I'm willing to give those a try ^^
All animal sites welcome.

Though I'm usually pretty loose about things, there are a few requirements on your end as well.

+ site must be int/adv, meaning more than three paragraphs a post.
+ site must have an interesting plot. by interesting, I mean NOT a boarding/public school. I need something more. XD
+ other than that, it's pretty loose.
+ if your site is a Harry Potter site, please be sure it is future harry potter. Not current, not marauders.

If you need an example of my most recent project, feel free to skip over to afterlife_xx. I made everything there, except the graphics. XD

thanks!
fallen

Hi, I have a site that I'm just putting finishing touches to. Right now, I'm making the sub plots and awaiting for more sub plot ideas. The site is also in need of graphics. The site is basically on College and Real Life. It's mainly Real Life, though, seeing as adults do go to college.

lets go back to school to the old school
to the times when the single file lines was the rule
to the days that we had to study all the maps
the days we were kiddin not to take the kid naps
the days when we used to have to wear the dunce caps
and the days when we used to bust the oldschool raps
sittin with your buddy studyin for ya test
lookin back so that you see up under betty's dress
couldnt wait for bells to ring so we can go to recess
to kick the battle rhymes just to see who was the best
there were seven emcee's in the 7th grade
i would kick seven rhymes had only seven made
but those seven rhymes we stole

Haymond College is only for the best students. All of the students come to learn the basics of life. Some come just to come, well, they were forced to come here. Rich people paid their way and smart people earned their way. No matter how you got here, you're here. There's no way out, until you pass that is. But, what if you dont pass? What will your parents think? Did you study for the tests? Did you go to any of the events? Did you even take your book with you? How about your brain?

note the way your toning
i gave the class a blast the way i smash my opponents
battlin was serious they've all ducked the fist
because i kick the funky fresh rhymes like fish
try to swing but they miss they miss like this
Rasheeda's on the monkey bars blowin me a kiss
throwin rhymes back and forth on the see saw
just to mess with him because i know that he saw
winkin at Latrice because i know that she saw
several suckas tried to push us down but we saw
these are the days when the tounge used to rule
recess is over lets go back to school

Haymond College was founded by Robert R. Haymond. Everyone teased him about his last name, since it had the word 'Hay' in it. To Robert, it wasnt so funny. Once he turned 32, he built the school. Yeah, it started off small, but soon grew. By 1925, more than 750 students attended the college. Now, the population has been like a rollercoaster, when year it's high, next it's low. Robert thought it was going fair. In 1956, Robert died and left the school in his son's hands. His son goes by the name of Richard S. Haymond.

goin back to school like Rodney Dangerfield
to the lunchroom where the cooks arrange a meal
ate the sloppy joe where my friends copy so
we can try to get more than emcees can flow
the fun fun fun funky able fable
i stake the style standin on the stable lunch table
finish up the rhyme so i can pass it to the next
throw em back and forth till we heard the bells flex
left the lunchroom went to the gymnasium
ut time to flow we call it a rap stadium

Now, a bunch of new kids go to the school, some have no clue why they are there, but they will find out. For some, this is their first breath of adult world.

Hello.
I would love to have you on my site. And lookee, my co-admin position is o p e n. XD

I run a newly-opened elven roleplay called Ellesméra.

http://thelandofwinds.proboards80.com

Here is the plot, although ideas to help and better it are always welcome;

QUOTE

;;

Our life has been a difficult one. Filled with struggle and blood and everything in between. Should you wish to gain the knowledge of our past experiences, simply listen closely as I spin the tale.

;;

The elves were, as it was thought by the dwarves, brought to the land by Gūntera, in order to rule the world and for the elves to do his bidding.
We elves do not hold a religion, and so we are not particularly familiar with the dwarves' customs. I will tell you know more of this absurdity.

;;

After we elves were 'created', we ruled the land with our fierce beauty and superiority over all other races. When others were not awed by our appearances and attempted to harm us, we always prevailed. Fools continued onward in vain attempts to relinquish us from the land - all to no avail.

;;

Long ago, when we first spied dragons in our land, they were thought of as illiterate monsters - unintelligent savages. Our king sent a band of elves to rid our land of them.
They found the group of dragons deep in slumber, and showed no mercy. Every dragon and egg was slaughtered there, a day we now look upon with shame.
The elves returned, boasting of their macabre murders, and they all slept easily that night. On the open ground.
They had slaughtered the group of dragons; but many more remained. When they returned to find their brethren killed, they immediately sought revenge.
The dragons came to the elves' abode, and slaughtered hundreds.
Thus, the war between dragons and elves began.

;;

For years the attacks between the two races flourished, growing ever more violent over time. It seemed as though they would murder their entire races together, what with all the havoc they had reigned upon the world.

;;

One day, a small elven girl named Adrasteai found an abandoned dragon egg, and was excited to realize that the dragon inside was not crushed, but alive.
Being young as she was, she kept the egg to herself, hiding it from all of the elves. She hid it in the lush forest nearby her house when it emerged from the egg and began to grow.
When atlast her dragon, christened Amanatiya, was fully grown, and the two had successfully flown together, Adrasteai revealed their friendship.

;;

At first the elven people rebelled at the thought of Adrasteai befriending a monster, and shunned her from the land. Amanatiya and Adrasteai then flew to the realm of the dragons, and, together, arranged for a treaty with the dragons and elves.
The dragons reluctantly agreed to the idea of peace, but on one condition; the elves would never again treat them as monsters, but as the intelligent beings they were; and elves and dragons would share their land in equality, as alliances.

;;

Dragon and rider flew back to the elves, and proposed the alliance. The King was unsure of agreeing, but finally did so, agreeing to all conditions.
And so, the two were in peace.

;;

And it has been such for hundreds of years, but the tides are changing.
Elves who despise the dragons - though they are few and heavily exiled when caught - have been committing foul and violent crimes against their foes. The dragons have become ruffled, and fled to their main lands, leaving us without easy communication to the outside world.

;;

We refuse to leave our realm in order to send messages to our brethren on the other side of the earth, as it could reveal our land to unwelcome outsiders. The dilemma is clear. Our finest magicians are not with us at the time, except for a sparse few and myself, and so our food supplies are growing weak, and new houses are yet to be built. Our realm is falling into chaos.

;;

What is more, our King has recently passed away...
Our race is falling into monarchy - a new receiver to the title must be found, and, hopefully, our alliance with the dragons renewed.

;;

Or we shall all perish.

;;

Wow, I took a look at your site, Zyra, and I might join that one ^^ It looks great.
I'm sorry, but I'm not so sure about the other one. I'm getting a little bored of typical human life.

Still, My ad's only been up a minute. XD
Thanks for the replies - I'm going to wait a day before I decide ^^

<3,
Fallen

zyra - April 22, 2007 01:49 AM (GMT)
Thank you very much. =D

nuit - April 22, 2007 06:54 PM (GMT)
I would love to have you on Paint My Eyes__andcallmepretty. It's a very new RPG about a group of teenage runaways that have grown tired of their normal lives for various reasons and formed their own little colony. There's no set plot just yet, so I am in need of one, but you did say you enjoyed creating plots...
Keep in mind that the boards are very new, so what you see now isn't necessarily what you're going to get. That's why I'm asking for staff, right? =]

T®@\/!$ - April 22, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
Hi Fallen! I just made a new RPG yesterday, and could use some help! Of course a Co-Admin would be wonderful, but I'm looking for a Graphics person too, so I'd be honored to give you that title too if you wanted. :) ((It's Travis/Trevor from Afterlife ;) ))

Here is my site, Just Like the Movies

I've based it off of a series of books. The RPG is basically a boarding school for students extremely gifted in either Music, Art, or Drama. Also, many of these students have magic powers, so considering that, this isn't an ordinary "boarding school."

Plot

Long, long ago a king arrived in the North. They called him the Red King because he wore a scarlet cloak and his shield was emblazoned with a burning sun. It was said that he came out of Africa. This king was also a marvelous magician and each of his ten children inherited a small part of his power. But when the king's wife died, five of his children turned to wickedness and the other five, seeking to escape the corruption that surrounded their evil siblings, left their father's castle forever.

Brokenhearted, the Red King vanished into the forest that covered the kingdom of the North. He did not go alone, however, for her was followed by his three faithful cats -- leopards to be precise. We must never forget the cats!

The manifold and fabulous powers of the Red King were passed down through his descendants, often turning up quite unexpectedly in someone who had no idea where they came from. This is what happened to many children around the world.

Soon, schools were set up to nurture and care for these special people, ones blessed to be descendants of the Red King himself. These schools most importantly specialized in crafting and pruning a child in the skills of his or her endowment. And so, the endowed as they are called, continue to live almost normal lives thanks to the help from these special schools.

Halvor Institute for Higher Learning was one of those special schools. Founded in the late 1600's by Pellinore Halvor, a descendant of the granddaughter of Amandis, the Red King's beloved son, Halvor Institute continues to prevail as one of the world's most productive schools for harvesting and honing endowed children.

Family run since the day its doors opened, Halvor Institute has become a sanctuary for many endowed children. Some are orphans, others come from well respected families, and others' histories are shrouded in mystery, but all are welcome. There is no doubt that Halvor Institute is the place to enroll in.

However, admist the gilded serenity that is Halvor Institute, the dark and gloomy evil that once consumed the Red King's children, is beginning to stir up once again. All is not peaceful no more. Times have changed, and the once lustrious Halvor Institute is beginning to crumble into dust. As more and more children are discovering their endowments, it seems many are turning against the Red King, and following in the foot prints of Borlath, the king's oldest son who was completely evil.

As the struggle between good and evil begins to take root, causing many to choose up sides, animosity runs high at Halvor. As you watch the chidlren of the Red King fight amougnst each other, the climatic events roll out in front of you. The story, you realize, that once seemed so easy to conclude, has turned for the worst, and life at the Institute is suddenly more suspenseful. Wishing you were far away from this hatred war, the shocking surprise ending leaps up at you, and you realize that life at Halvor Institute for Higher Learning is

Hi Travis! Oh wow. You guys are really making this hard for me! Lol. I love both sites.

-wants to choose both but knows she won't have the time-

As much as I love you, Travis, I think I'm going to go with niut because I'm currently obsessed with the idea of runaways and gangs. <33
I'll be glad to join your site though, Travis XD

I PMed you, Nuit ^^

Oh well,it happens :p But yes, you definitely should join it! :D

..Fallen.. - April 24, 2007 11:13 PM (GMT)

Haha, yeah. Afterlife was pretty much dead. I'm sorry! Kara and I decided it was best. We're making a model RPG, though, if you want to join us when we finish the concept design :p

I am in desperate need of a Plot Designer, so if you would like, we have a position for that open.

The board is still under construction, but a link can be found in my signature. The rules for RPing are still a bit hobbled together, but rest assured, any crap RPing (To put it bluntly), will not be accepted. I am sure you could find the advanced RP experience you are looking for.

QUOTE
What if your dreams defined realities?
-Darius, The First Original

It all began with a simple dream. A very simple dream, a dream of a city, a city that looked very much like the place where this particular story takes place in. It was a city that was held in an eternal night, and when Darius first went to sleep and dreamed this, he thought nothing of it. The next morning, he woke up, with very little memory of hat very boring dream, and went off to school. He went through his life like normal that day, to come home and go to sleep, and to dream once more of the city.

This time, however, he did not wake up.

Darius, a young boy of twelve was put into the Oakland city hospial the next day, in a coma. All of his vital signs were fine, he would just not open his eyes. All he would do was lay there, and sleep.

And dream.

It was first discovered by Vayne. He went to sleep, and dreamed the same dream that Darius had. He dreamed of a city. His dream lasted longer though, for day it seemed, even though he still woke up the next morning. In this dream, he was hunted by priests, by religion, by wild things he didn't know his own imagination had. He was nearly killed, beaten bloody.

He woke up bloody. He woke up nearly dead.

Those were the motions that set it into place. Since then, he has met Darius, in both the real world, where Darius is still in a coma, and in the Dream World, which was named "Obsidia". It was all explained to Vayne there, what had happened, and at first, even if he thought it was crazy, he accepted it. What he had dreamt was real. He had dreamt himself into a real world, where very real things could happen to him.

And that is how it all began. Darius called himself an Original, and from there, Vayne named himself a Dreamer. Five other Original's were discovered, people within the real world that where in coma's, but who apparently had made a whole dream world of their own come into true existance. How it happened, no one could explain. More Dreamer's began to appear in the world, each one young and frightened at first, but eventually getting used to it, and enjoying it. It was a world where magic could reign. Where they had power. Worlds that only they could access by falling asleep. In these worlds, they were special. Each, for whatever reason, was given a number. And with that number, came their power.

And time flows on.

You may have found your board though, and if so, that is fine. Just checking. ;)

I am currently looking for some Role-playing staff and you seem perfect for the job, I am administrator of a gaming forum called Impaqt Gaming. I don't know if that will put you off or not. But we are going to be adding a role-playing category. The role-play will change every time a major game is released. The current Idea is for it to be based on pokemon diamond/pearl. The story line is just like what all pokemon games are about. This is becoming the pokemon master. If you interested please say and I will be more then happen to answer any questions you may have. The forum is http://impaqtgaming.net

Is there room enough for two powerful and influential families in one small city? The Simmonsons area studious clan, big on tradition, morals and old fashioned values. The Richardsons are long winded, rambunctious and live life to the fullest. Two familes built this city and they will tear it apart...

The Sicilian Cosa Nostra, AKA Sicilian mafia; a group of hardened men, once driven to protect and unite the pesants of Italy against dishonest and cold hearted rulers but now they have become so much more. With gangs and branches in America and all over Italy they have became a force to be rekoned with. They say a 'made man' is above the law, noone can touch him outside of his mafiaso brotherhood. So come and become one of us, swear your Omertą and be a part of something greater then yourself... or you could just be a harlot ;)

It looks like you might be a good fit for The World of Design, my new graphics and RPG fusion. It's not open yet so I can't give you a link, but below is a link to a more detailed description of the concept. And as for the skill level, I plan to sort the members into groups varying by RP skill, so you could get one of the more experienced groups.
