It will be made on Proboards.

This does not belong in the Employment Center forum. That forum is for finding staff for boards you already made, or planning to make. Not to figure out what kind of forum you wanna make, that's one step ahead.
Moved to Roleplay Talk forum.

I like just a hogwarts school. It's always fun to do a story outside of all the characters of HP.

Amen to that, heavenne (lovestruck)

I prefere to play ones where you are the generation after the books and ones in the mauraders era. I like to be in the schools though.

Interestingly enough...None of the above!
I'm not saying that because I don't like HP - I love it (really love it!) because it's rich with lore and we are provided with strong basis for history, future predictions and an endless list of things to play with - heck, I am of the opinion that HP is one of the most lucrative genres out there, if you know how to manipulate it.
All of these examples are excellent for giving an overview of the kinds of things one can do with the genre - within each one we can do whatever we like, the sky's the limit! But, I haven't picked any of the types on my list, because they're not what I like.
I like canon characters - they make the game for me, even if they're not centre stage. I like to see people taking on the challenge of playing someone like Harry Potter (who, has anyone ever noticed, is the most difficult character to get a player for?) and I like to see what people do with them.
But I like to be outside the restrictions of school. I like HP as an adult - make what you will of what took place, as all post-HP games will have to, and pick up from there. Whether it's an AU with further education or throwing Ron into the work place behind some crummy desk. Seeing how they cope in their adulthood is what makes HP interesting for me. I mean, what happens beyond Voldemort is interesting to me - what are the other potential problems? I'm not talking about a successor, or a disgruntled Death Eater - I mean completely side stepping that whole issue onto something completely new. I like to see what people come up with in that respect. It makes for very original gaming.
Oh gosh...Look at me being all...specific! >_< to redeem myself a tiny amount and make it seem less narrowed down...Adult Trio! ^-^

I like the idea of Just a hogwarts school, or something like it, without canons. But I also like the Marauders time period too, as I am addicted to those kind of Fan Fictions. So it's a bit of a tie.
