so lately I've been craving a sort of 1600's 1500's 1700's role-play, set in London ad-mist the English aristocracy of the time...with princes and dukes, duchess and servant girls...kings and queens. I've always loved that time period....but never really thought about creating an Rpg forum for it. So I was wondering would anyone be interested in that sort of Role-play? Or am I the only one head over heals in love with the idea of Past English aristocracy. (blush) Of course I wouldn't do it now, since I have a high school Rp in development, but...still.

It would be more realistic most definitely...although it would be interesting if it was a fantasy deal...but I wouldn't know how to approach it from that appeal.

Well, that is what i have done, just with fantasy so I love the idea. lol, I have ran medieval rpgs almost exclusively for about 7-8 years (been rping for almost 10 now) and I have always had a lot of luck getting them started and running, it is a popular idea and as long as you put some thought into your plot you should do just fine. :) There are always people looking for medieval rpgs.

I love the idea of a Medieval RP, especially one among the English Ton. (No, you're not the only one obsessed *winks*). I wanted to try it a while back but I was so afraid that I wasn't as knowledgeable as I thought I was about the society and I hate it when my members come to me with questions that I have no answer to, so the plan flopped.

However, it IS a great idea. I hope you go through with it because I'd love to see that type of RP.

I'm glad to see so much interest, and I definitely want to pursue the idea now. I know I'd have to do a lot of research and approach it in such a way that you wouldn't have to be an expert on the time period to role-play successfully. Thanks for the input guys.
