Seattle Grace Hospital: A Grey's Anatomy RPG

The story so far...

Things are as dramatic as usual at Seattle Grace.

Meredith’s fears that she was in for a bad day were realized when a medical case arrived at SGH that threatened the lives of everyone in the OR. A man was brought in with an explosive embedded in him that had the potential to detonate at the slightest bump. A Code Black situation was immediately called by Dr. Burke.

Dr. Bailey returned as a maternity patient in labor. However, her husband was severely injured in a car accident on the way to the hospital to see her and underwent brain surgery in the O.R. next to the room with the explosive-imbedded patient.

The paramedic that had her hand on the bomb (keeping the patient alive and the bomb from exploding) lost her nerve and bolted. Everybody in the room dove to the floor, expecting to die. There was no explosion -- but only because Meredith slipped her hand under Hannah’s and was then in the patient, and on the bomb.

Dr. Bailey was still in labor, and flat out refused to give birth. George helped her out by giving her a little motivation, and ultimately ended up holding her while she delivered the baby. Her husband crashed on the table, but Dr. Shepherd resuscitated him back to life.

Izzie had some definitely off the charts reactions to Meredith, her family, being in mortal danger, and between laughing and some love-making with Alex, the beast was fed four times. In a closet. Her resolution with George to become a do-er was accomplished.

Chief Webber was under a lot of stress from everything that had been going on, and was believed to have had a heart attack. However, it proved to be just an anxiety attack, and he was up and about later on, much to his wife, Adele’s, displeasure.

Meredith removed the explosive from the patient and the guy from the bomb squad took it from her and left the room. Shortly after leaving, he and another member of the squad were killed when the bomb exploded, and Meredith, who followed the bomb squad officer into the hall, was knocked unconscious. The fully clothed Izzie and Cristina washed blood off the stunned Meredith.

Later that night, after Preston successfully completely surgery to repair the tear in the patient’s heart, both Meredith and Cristina’s relationships tumbled into different territories. Derek appeared on Meredith’s doorstep and reminded her of their last kiss, leaving with a gaze only someone truly in love could manage, while Cristina responded to Burke’s earlier ‘I love you’ with one of her own.

This completely re-vamped RPG picks up from there. How will Meredith’s life change because of her experience? Will Cristina and Burke’s relationship move forward, or does Cristina have any other secrets she might be keeping? Izzie has shown she can still stand Alex, but are they ready for a relationship again? And what about Addison and Derek? How long can he keep pretending to work on his marriage, and how long Addie stand to be the woman he no longer loves? Will the appearance of a certain Dr. Sloan be able to convince her that her marriage is truly over?

Seattle Grace Hospital is a message board Grey's Anatomy RPG that has taken on its own plotline from mid season two. More specifically, from the end of It’s The End Of The Word (As We Know It). We're looking for new characters (original and canon!), including the following:
