Title: Valentines Day
Description: What did you do/got?

Well I'm curious, so I'm wondering what you guys did today, or if you did anything at all about valentines day? Did you get a card, a bouqet of flowers, a present of your bf/gf? Went to have a dinner together?
And if you have any funny, emotional or interesting Valentine stories, tell them here too ^_^.
Well I got a bouqet of flowers, no name on it. Althought I think I know from who it's from. Further I didn't do anything about Valentines day, I don't particulary like Valentines day, it's just to commercial for my liking.

Yes, Valentine's Day is way too commercial. Of course they leave out the religious aspect of it. (neutral) In fact, someone once told me that we celebrate Valentine's Day because of the St Valentine's Day Massacre. (angry) I just about cried.
My Japanese teacher told us today that in Japan, the girls give the boys chocolate. (The girls don't get any, sadly enough.) However, there are two different types of chocolate: one you give to your guy friends and another you give to the dude you love. It's interesting how different things are celebrated. (And yet it's still commercial. (tongue) )
My dad bought me some candy conversation hearts, and my Japanese teacher gave me a piece of chocolate candy. I may go buy the discounted stuff at the drug store either tonight or tomorrow. (smile)

My boyfriend is away, so I didn't get anything from him, though we did go out to dinner on Saturday, so I can't complain! I got a flower from a friend today and a box of chocolate from my mum. Noffin special. Today's never really been that big in my fam, so it's not too amazing.

Hehe... someone sent me an anonymous rose. No idea who. It is tres insane.
But fact: Did you know that Valentines Day is the day that divorce lawyers are most sought out? :p

No boyfriend, but I got a few flowers from various people~ not just my female friends either. Heh. No anonymous Valentines though; what a bummer. BUT, I did get a (stuffed) unicorn... so that made it better. <3

I had dance practice. *sigh* I'm not seeing anyone right now, though, so I guess it wasn't that big of a deal...
That thing about the St. Valentine's Day Massacre is depressing. I hope that person told you that tongue in cheek!

Hmm what did I do? Umm okay on the day I got my gf a single red rose, rapped and stuff to make it look more pretty, also got her a big box of expensive chocolates, classic I know. Then went to her place, swept her off her feet and yeah I mean I did I picked her up and carried her up stairs lol Enough details there. Because we were both at collage and school we decided to go out for a valentine meal/date thing on the weekend later so we weren't as busy. Ended up going for a meal, watching a film, came home on public transport, cuddled all the way home, came to my place (had the place to ourselves for once because I gave my dad some cash and asked him to go out for the night so me and my gf could hand out with out him being in. Ended up just watching a film together and having quite a few drinks, woke up on the sofa in each others arms in the morning, pretty cool if you ask me lol

Zomg! That sounds sooooo cute, Jay! Teeheehee =3
I didn't do anything on Valentine's Day. I do recall me and my friends talking about that Japanese tradition, though. I dunno. Nothing special for me. I may or may not have cuddled my cat into oblivion. But if that meant it's V-Day, must be everyday, then :D

I’m so late with this topic, but I got some roses, a heart shaped mug and a teddy bear, lol… <3 I love my boyfriend. I did tell him not to spend a lot, because it is very commercial.

I got the stomach flu for Valentines Day. A lovely gift, is it not? I spent my holiday vomiting anything I was foolish enough to try to put into my stomach, including water. Lovely. Best Valentines Day I ever remember having.
