Well, I think you can best take this to the IF support forum, and open a support topic there, or if you have another forum still open, to send a ticket via the admin cp. Explain the situation and ask if the boards can be restored.

Was she the only one, besides you, with admin powers?

Of course, if she is root admin she could always delete the board again. If she was just another admin, then you could delete her.

we shared the root admin account on our sites, since it was used when approving and making announcements.

I have given up on getting them back... and I know better about sharing a site with her. Thanks for the advice
