Title: Human/real Life/laid Back
Gatja - June 29, 2010 11:42 PM (GMT)
Genre: human/real life/laid back
Difficulty: Flexible.
Type(s) of Creature(s): Humans.
Preferred Rating: PG-13 - R
Preferred Number of Members/Activity: Flexible.
Preferred Time where RPG is set in: Modern day.
Other Notes: My friend and I are looking for an easy going human/real life/etc RP with an easy application. Neither of us like to explain every absolute detail about our characters (hello! that's what the RP is for) and prefer the information come out in game (shock/anticipation value, please!). Something active would be nice and easy to look at/etc.

Hello! Are you interested in a Hospital RP? If not, it is always possible for you to create a Civilian and never even interact with the Hospital or even the characters that work there - Civilians will definitely be a popular member group. I myself will be playing two - perhaps three if I decide to create the third character that has been going through my mind lately.
Our site is a Real Life, Original Hospital RP taking place in Boston, MA. It's not necessarily rated R, but mature content is allowed if tagged appropriately. We have no word count and a very short, easy Application. We are an active and friendly community and will be going through Applications at a very fast rate - the only catch is, it will only open on July 4th.
If you're up for lurking until then, maybe chat with us (The Admins) on the C-box, you're very welcomed to do so. You can even start your Application(s) now, maybe think of plots, character requests and the like. If all goes well, we may choose to open sooner. xD Let me know if you're interested in the actual Advert/Link.

I can offer you the City Lights. We're an intermediate RL RP centered on an arts university in a small town in England. We're PG-13 and while we're laid-back, there are new posts and good activity every day! We just started summer term in-game (optional for characters who might want to enjoy their summer outside of school instead). Our members are pretty friendly and welcoming, and yes, what you say about apps is true. :3 Many of the characters on our board have shorter apps; it's really up to the member to decide what they want to do with their character. XD
Anyway, I'll leave the ad here so you can get a feel of the setting and plot. Good luck with your search!
UPTONUNIVERSITYOFTHEARTS *
rules . information . application . face claim . advertisements
Once upon a time, people dreamed of sending their children here.
The Upton University of the Arts, known for its class and proficiency in helping students hone their art forms, was founded by Mr. James Upton and his inner circle of artists. Graduates became stars, stars became legends. UUA became a figure in the history of art formation and education.
But that was in the 1950s, when the culture of art and everything about it was loved and appreciated to the fullest. The 21st century lives in a world of practicality, a period where art has little to no meaning. It now exists only to sit and look pretty, with no other characteristics than obsolescence and frivolity.
But we don't think so.
Faced with a fast-changing era what can the arts do to counteract the imprisonment of everyday life?

Ooo, I have the place for you! Will to Live is the epitome of laid back. Well, we're organized and we have rules that we uphold, but we're pretty chill OoC--staff included. Yes, we allow all sorts of creative characters on our board as long as they're realistic. Will to Live has been open for over a year and is a stable, healthy site. But we have plenty of room for everyone, and we love newbies. :D
We have no word count because we don't want to stress over the game, and people end up posting better without a word count than with a word count. Start out with a small application and then fill out a longer profile as you RP. :) Please drop by and say hello in the cbox--there's almost always someone online (except for maybe reeeeeally late at night / early in the morning) though we have people from Asia, America/Canada and Europe.

Light of the Harvest Moon might be what you're looking for. Although we are based around the video game series Harvest Moon, we are still RL and you don't need to know anything about the games to join! We have a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere and we have members on everyday and actively posting. Currently, we don't have a set application, just a few suggestions on the basics. Come check us out!

The valley of Castanet needs your help!
Long ago, the Harvest Goddess and Harvest God watched over the land, keeping everything in balance with five bells that resounded through the area. However, one day the bells went missing, and the one destined to come revive the land... failed.
Years passed. More years passed. Eventually, Harmonic Town become little more then a hamlet for broken hearts and deserted dreams.
There are those with hope still though! They are struggling to revive the village and return the valley to it's former glory.
Will they meet failure? Or, somewhere along the way, will they find life's greatest treasure?
Only time will tell.

Check out Closer! We're a real life game set in a fictional city named Bishop, located in Massachusetts, USA. It's a sandbox type game, and the characters on the site are a very diverse group, so no matter what you want to play within the limits of reality, you can probably find someone for the character to fit in with.
We are welcoming to new members, and we're happy to accommodate both beginners and more experienced RP'ers. Activity is soaring right now, though my co-admin and I are very laid back and understanding if something comes up and prevents you from posting. We do have an application for you to fill out, but it's pretty basic, and you can make as much out of it as you want to, as long as you can give us a idea of what kind of character you want to play.
If you're interested, the link is in my sig!

Maybe you'd like to check out Gifford High - were a disney high school site with a nice laid back member base. Our application is as simple or as extensive as you'd like to make it. We're rated PG-13 and allow all character types.

In the small, boring town of Jakenville, Ohio there stands a school;
a school that is so crammed packed with smiles and happy endings
that its hard to believe the students lives are reality.
The halls of Gifford High School are roamed by some of the most charming princes
and some of the cruelest villains known to storybooks and Disney movies alike.
Are you ready to enter a realm where reality and fairy tale combine?

Check out Phoenix Forest! Even though the board is fandom-based [Harvest Moon], it is a human/real life RPG and can be thought of like a small town RPG. (:
Here is the link, if you are interested:

Hi there,
I know you said you are looking for a real life board, and while my site does have a lot to do with mythology, we're also looking for humans who know nothing about the deities on earth! one of the board rules is that humans can't find out about their existence, so you could happily come along and play as if it were a real life board with no supernatural happenings!
Have a look, and if even if we don't rock your boat, good luck in your search!
Link to the board is in my siggy!

come check us out! we've got what you're looking for!
Life's a Beach is a real life board set in Miami. There's a main site plot involving two mafia families at war, but everyone is free to make their own plots. plenty of civilians live ignorant to the crime world. So come on over, maybe take a look at the few canons, posted want ads or post your own and see what kind of drama you can stir up. But most importantly remember: life's a beach, don't drown.

We started in Rent fandom, post canon, but in the past four years, we've developed into an RL game based in New York which happens to have the canons from that fandom running about. . . You don't need to know a thing about the musical or the movie, since the characters are just characters, nothing more. We're grown up, decent writers, and friendly as can be. Have a look. The banner in my sig's the link.

You're living in America at the end of the millennia. . . and you're not alone. Alphabet City We're in the year 1998 and the colorful residents of the East Village in Manhattan are facing the issues which challenge poor Bohemian artists in the mid-90s. Drug abuse, HIV, prostitution, starvation, death, life, and love. However, they find that they aren't alone, friends are all around, and there is always coffee to be drunk, issues to be discussed, and art to be created, good and otherwise. Come join our cast of canon and original characters, featuring a strong sense of community and creativity and find that you're not alone either. Other notes:Based on the Broadway musical RENT, set post-canon, though slightly AU to keep Angel alive. We have evolved and changed over the past four years from a fandom RP to a RL RP with some fandom characters. We are lucky to have a great group of OCs who are keeping the plot moving and changing quickly, and we always welcome new writers and OCs with open arms.

Perhaps you would like to take a look at our site. It's an academy-based RPG that centers around an arts school for high-school aged teenagers. For more information, have a look at my signature (I apologize for its size). Also, visit the site, click the link at the bottom of the signature.
