Preferred Number of Members/Activity: Active enough for me to post everyday, but not...extremely active, I want to be able to get acquainted with people and not be drowned out in everything.

OOOh lovely. I think Venificus Vir is perfect for you. We are a Potter Era RPG (but a bit different....you'll see when you look at the add)
We are very friendly and have a low member count. We are also brand new but due to a few problems of my own (which are now cleared up) we are able to begin posting.

Venificus Vir
No one would know what he had gone through. No one would know the sacrifice he would make to save the wizarding world from the threat of Lord Voldemort. No one would no, because the plan
would fail. In the dying days of his life, Professor Dumbledore coceived a plan that would save hundreds of lives. Go back in time and stop Lord Voldemort from beginning his reign of terror.
Perhaps he had become desperate in the last few days of his life, maybe he had forgotten his true plan but either way the world would never be the same again.
Dumbledore's plan backfired and his actions in the past caused a fracture in the true timeline. People who were suppose to live died and those who were destined to die survived. Dumbledore himself wasn't far behind. The wizarding world had changed. People died, people lived, but Lord Voldemort was not one who lived. In a battle that would change the face of the wizarding world for ever Albus Dumbledore defeated the Dark Lord.
Now peace reigned throughout the wizarding and muggle world and for eleven years the wizarding world boomed. But good things never lasted and in 1991 something would happen which would shape the wizarding world for years to come. Harry Potter began his magical education at Hogwarts schoool and Professor Dumbledore discovered something deadly and powerful in the bowells of the castle. Quirrel had succumbed to the dark side and Dumbledore knew that Lord Voldemort was alive and struggling.
The year is now 1992, a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher is about to start at Hogwarts and the students are waiting for the new school year to begin. But will the school stay united, when the chamber of secrets opens once again?
Venificus Vir is a AU Harry Potter RPG set during Harry's time at Hogwarts. We loosley follow the canon books but with a few differences. The story is not focused soley on Harry's journey and for that we allow many different kinds of plots to arise within the canon story, bringing in new orginal characters and new locations.
