Title: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows
Melly - February 3, 2007 02:49 AM (GMT)
I have no idea how this topic has yet to be posted, but WE HAVE A RELEASE DATE FOR THE LAST HARRY POTTER!!!!
July 21 at 12:01 am (or 0:01 am)
Comments??
I know I was not expecting it to come out this year at all, and I said that to several people, one of which sent me an Instant Message as soon as he found out and decided to rub it in my face.
Nessarose - February 3, 2007 03:06 AM (GMT)
I was hoping that it would come out this year. But lots of people I know thought that it would come out 7 7 07, so it's sort of disapointing that it isn't coming out until the 21st. Oh well, I can't wait!!!
Darth Makar - February 3, 2007 03:28 AM (GMT)
Sounds exciting. ^_^ But it's been awhile since I read the others so I guess I'll have to reread them all. I don't want anything spoiled--I know that people will be quite willing to ruin the plot for other people on the internet.
Sunday - February 3, 2007 04:29 AM (GMT)
Two days before my birthday -- delightful! =]
ShinLi - February 3, 2007 10:58 AM (GMT)
I read it yesterday in the news paper, a belgium one though. I was like, *does a dance in the train station hall*. I also just check my e-mail inbox, and I got like three e-mails from the leaky lounge about the release date of DH.
I'm quite excited, and going to try and reread the books before july ^_^.
Sunday - February 3, 2007 05:43 PM (GMT)
It's also available for pre-order now; I got an email from Borders about two days ago.
Toni-May - February 3, 2007 09:10 PM (GMT)
I told you all it would come out around my birthday… *Does winner dance*
Zang - February 4, 2007 05:00 PM (GMT)
It's relatively exciting. I just hope Hogwarts explodes or somethihng to that effect. Way to end the series.
AdanaPhoenix - February 11, 2007 05:10 AM (GMT)
That's not nice, an exploding castle... it'll look better in a movie though... What I hope for is that Harry and Voldemort kill each other off, Ginny hooks up with Colin Creevey, and Snape gets murdered by soemone, I don't care who.
That aside, I didn't think the book would come out this year either, mainly because of the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie around the same time. That's a lot to be going on at one time, or so I thought, for Rowling to have a movie and a book release so close together. When does she plan on sleeping?
But I am excited that the series is coming to an end. I've been a fan for years, and the wait frustrates me to no end. I still have to pre-order... the last time I did, I spent $35 on a hardback edition only to find it for $18 at Walmart (it was a bookstore in the mall; after we got the book, we stopped in Walmart's to see if they had anything new, and there a huge stack of the Harry Potter books were in the middle of the aisle near the cash registers. My aunt bought the book for me, so she was pretty livid). I don't think that'll happen this year, though.
Indigo - February 12, 2007 01:39 AM (GMT)
I'm sad to say I'm over it. I got sick of waiting long ago, and moved on. Sure, it's exciting, but I probably won't buy it the day it comes out. Mind you, I won't be online until I get it once it's released, so I don't end up spoiling it.
I'm just over the Harry Potter thing. It was cool for a while, but enough is enough.
Secret Lily - February 14, 2007 02:01 AM (GMT)
I am seriously so excited. I didn't expect it to be anytime this year. :D I thought she was still writing it.

Oh Oh, I win the mostest though because it comes out on my 17th Birthday!! WEWT! Omg, I know what I'm doing that night ^_^ I have to find a Borders, I absolutley refuse to miss the last midnight party! [The one I usually go to closed up this year :(]
I hate it when people spoil the plot. I know someone who already knows who dies and everything because a family member of their's is some kind of editor or something. She didn't want to know, but they told her anyway, she was sooo upset!
kimjhorner - February 15, 2007 09:49 AM (GMT)
I'm happy though a bit sad that the series is coming to an end.
I can understand those that are saying the wait has kind of killed the thrill. But I'm still looking forward to it though
jinyx;; - February 19, 2007 02:08 PM (GMT)
I think my image of Harry was really ruined in the 5th book. xP So now I'm going for Malfoy! Hehe. Just kidding. I think Malfoy's a baby.
I am actually kind of going for Voldie. X.x Maybe if he continues living, J.K. can write up a new series about the present day and Voldemort trying to kill another family. Lol. I dunno.
But I'm really excited about the book coming out! I am going to go to the last HP party. Kind of sad... last one EVER to come out. No more HP parties, no more books, no more of any of that... except the movies. But when the movies are all out, then the magic will die. What book will I get addicted to next? Probably none like HP.
And there I go, rambling again. I do that a lot. Heh. Now I am doneth. ^^
xollamasongox - May 25, 2007 09:10 PM (GMT)
Oh my I'm so excited for this book, I can't wait. I pre-ordered it on my birthday, and I'm going to wait outside for my book. (happy)
Mariko - May 28, 2007 08:03 AM (GMT)
I can't wait until the release! The wait is making me more excited than impatient, though. It'll be kind of sad when it's over, though.
skyeh - May 29, 2007 03:06 PM (GMT)
Wahey, I now know the actual date! I thought it was the 21st of June, but I was only a month out. Dernit.
Anyhow, I can't wait. I expect I'll end up cheering if a character I thought would die does, but eh. I'm gonna miss the tension leading up to a new one ;;.
Phoenix Lament - May 30, 2007 11:26 PM (GMT)
Oh. My. God. I remember waaayyyy back in February when we first found out the release date. I just about
died. And today? I pretty much suffered from another heart attack.
Um?
Deathly Hallows, anyone? That is, like,
cruel and unusual punishment. Oh, yeah, I really want to see the book being published. NKDGSDSGKDS
-death-
Must... have...And... by the way, -waves team Snape&Draco flag- Draco will redeem himself! He will! And Snape will die but he's not not not evil! NO. He's
good. Really. He is.
skyeh - June 2, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
Snape & Draco = <3. I love them XD. Always getting discriminated against, though D: -shakes fist at loathers-
Shadow of the Rain - June 4, 2007 11:28 PM (GMT)
I was kinda pissed at the sixth book cuz they made Draco redeemable. Yeah, yeah, I know some of you like him cuz he's got the sexy smirk and all, but I've always hated him. Then all of a sudden he's crying in the bathroom and whatnot, and I'm all like, "Aw, poor Draco..." and then, "Dang it! NO! He's supposed to be a cold, heartless jerk!" Sigh...
Snape I've never trusted, though I've always thought he was a cool character. I appreciated him as a villian, though, not a hero. If he turns out to be good I'll be honestly surprised.
As long as Fred and George are alive at the end, I'll be fine. Though if Hagrid died I think I'd be really sad too. *shrugs* The major characters can kick the bucket and I wouldn't be surprised.
But I'm so excited! And a little sad. The last HP book comes out during my last summer before college. So it's kinda like ending one chapter in my life along with one of my favorite fandoms. :(
AcexDaze - June 10, 2007 08:15 PM (GMT)
*dances*
I preordered it and I'm soooo excited XD
Theresa Crane - June 13, 2007 04:02 AM (GMT)
im going to stand in line for the book on july 20th. woo this is gonna be fun! I'm soo excited about the book yet sad because this is the last one. I REALLY hope harry doesn't die in this book is all I can say. And yes I do hope draco redeems himself. Now snape don't know guess we'll have to see.
Solid_Snake13 - June 19, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
