-admins open to player plots (I'm a plotter and I love making site plots for rpgs)
-I'm not a big fan of canon/children of canon unless they rp with everyone. Most rpgs where I played at only had them rp with each other -.-;; I'm not asking to be the very best friend of Harry Potter or his daughter or a girlfriend, it would just be nice to post with everyone on the rpg.
- PG-13+ As much as I love younger kids, my characters are pretty mature and may not be suitable to those rpgs

I think my board may suit you well. We have an equal number of canon and original characters - you could even be Harry Potter's best friend if you want! :p We deal with all manner of relationships and issues on the board, so it is rated somewhere between PG-13 and R (although I'd say it's probably R these days). We are active and friendly and everyone rps with everyone else. I'm not sure the skin is to everyone's taste (it's a love/hate thing), so I'm working on a new one as we speak. We list the post minimum as five lines but everyone seems to write at least two paragraphs.

Shadow Rising is a Harry Potter RPG set in the year 2025. The main premise is that Harry Potter was turned into a vampire, leaving the world in the capable hands of Hermione Granger who now heads the Order. The Ministry has put itself out as Anti-Death Eater, but its measures are extreme and they are even targeting innocent people. Voldemort has unleashed a disease onto the world that targets those with Muggle blood in them. It ravishes their magical core and if they don't die, they are magically weakened, practically becoming a squib. Vampires and werewolves also play a large part in the plot. Our second subplot involves vampire students actually being allowed into the school.

Thirty years into Harry Potters life and he had already done the impossible. Having killed Lord Voldermort when he was only twenty, he returned to the only place he ever called home Hogwarts. Which was in need of a Headmaster and Harry was perfect for the job. Harry met up with Ginny again and there love had not died. Marring a few months after he returned, they now run Hogwarts together.

Within this time frame, both Ron and Hermione fought alongside of Harry. The two shared a love for each other, though neither spoke of it. After being offered the job as Minister Hermione returned to London preparing herself for the long days and lonely nights. Running into Ron again at the Ministry they finally told each other how they felt, marring many months later.

During the days of war and all out fighting, Draco was fighting along side his Lucius and Voldermort. Though he never thought he would watch his father killed by Harry and his friends. Vowing to the Dark Lord that he would kill them, he soon found that harder then he expected. Harry had the upper hand and ended up killing the Dark lord as well. Though within this time Draco would inherit the Dark Lords powers and is now the new dark lord.

Will Draco rise to defeat Harry or will Harry once again prevail? Find out what Draco will do with his Hidden Powers ...

Maybe this site is good for you since you're in college. Most students there are in the same boat. A few of them only logged on once a week or 2 times a week. But the boards are moving well.

Anyways, just check this out. And I think Hogwarts need someone who's good at creating plots.

plot basics:
Dreaming of Tomorrow takes place not long after the golden Trio attended Hogwarts. Harry, Hermione and Ron have moved on with their lives and have had children of their own. Their children now attend Hogwarts, but not all is well. A new Dark Lord has risen and it's the last person you'd expect. The Order and Dumbledore's Army are needed now more then ever, as new Death Eaters show themselves.

Hogwarts seems to be the only safe place as Students from around the world now attend, but the question is, did the new Dark Lord want this all along?

Past clashes with Present.


It was a average day, fighting and learning. A loud thunderous noise echoed through Hogwarts, freezing the Marauders and their fellow students in their place. The professors and new students just moved about, as if they weren't even there. 1977 went by so fast and so on. Finally reaching the year, 1997/1998, they had been froze in time, though they still lived as if they would have before. But it was like something happened to them, it was like everything that should have happened, didn't and due to that they ended up in the years of their own children, whom of which are more then meets the eyes. Lily & James were never murdered by Lord Voldemort, in fact, Voldemort never became that evil at all, though the Death Eater's are around, just not the Dark Lord.

Having been unfroze in a new place, well the same school just new surroundings, they didn't know what to do. The only place they could turn was to the Headmaster, which was thankfully still the same, Dumbledore. Though Dumbledore himself could not explain what happened to well, he did as much as he could. At the feast that night, Albus introduced all the students that had been frozen in time, those students who parents were there, where shocked. Telling them all about what happened, he couldn't answer all the questions about WHY it happened.

All they knew is that they where now stuck in the future and there was no way of them ever getting back. Now, all of them where pretty much the responsibility of Dumbledore. They had no place to go, since their parents have been long gone and they no longer had homes. All of those students from the past where now stuck into the future, for good, they had to live at the school and make it through day by day together.
